The house met our needs perfectly. Nice location! Short walk to beach. Lots of towels and beach necessities provided. Fun ping pong and basketball game in the garage. Shaded pool was great after long days in sun. No frills and a little dated interior but worked for us!!!

This was our favorite house by far! The keyless entry was a plus and property manager got back with us quickly when we ran out of propane for the grill! I had also acquired if there was a coffee pot (besides the keurig pictured) or if I should bring my own...they had purchased one before our arrival and had it placed on the counter! Swan towels were a nice touch on each bed! OVERALL AMAZING!

Clean, spacious home. Back yard/pool beautiful and private. Very short distance to the beach. We already planning come back next year.

We really enjoyed our stay! We had 7 kiddos and 3 adults and there was plenty of room. We loved all of the “extras” in the garage for guests to use at the beach, and we left our brand nee umbrella and boogie boards for future guests to enjoy. The pool was fantastkc! We would recommend this home to anyone with a large family!!

I loved the vacation this year. Weather was amazing. The sand is so fine . And really clean ..you have your shells in there as well but it was just wonderful...the sunsets are the most magical thing to watch. We also saw dolphins and manatees... The water is so clear you can see you feet on the bottom of the ocean floor. Waves are not crazy either...you can just enjoy floating around. The house was excellent very clean the elevator made it nice for the 3rd rooms to send up the luggage. The pool and hot tub was magnificent. The only thing is you will have to keep up on cleaning the pool for leaves and other plant varieties.

We thought the house was great! We loved the layout and it was a super short walk to the beach. Very easy to do with small children. The hot tub was much needed too! Only issues were the long pool cleaner tube and vacuum in the pool at all times. We noticed other pools did not have it in.

We spent a week at this lovely, well-maintained home. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and short 2 block walk to the beach. Our adult boys said they enjoyed the backyard pool more than the beach. THe beach was close enough to go during the day and then walk back for sunset. Lovely property and we hope to return.

Excellent. Start to finish

We rented this home for our family vacation which included our 2 teen children and they each brought a friend. The house was immaculate upon arrival and everything we needed, wanted, and expected. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own room and space for privacy as well as plenty room for shared space to relax, hang out and watch tv, or sit around the table for some family game time! Everyone, especially the kids, used and enjoyed the pool and hot tub every night! Location is great as we were walking distance to the beach and close to shopping and dining!! Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!!

The pool and hot tub were wonderful! The short walk to the beach is an ideal location. The home provides wagons and beach chairs to make your stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend staying in this home!

Family stayed for a week during thanksgiving and really enjoyed the home. The heated pool and hot tub were great for this time of year. Property met all our expectations!!

This home was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the pool area was wonderful for young and old alike. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and the island has so much to offer. The only problem we had was that the pool filter needed to be changed to make the filtration system run properly. We ended up buying one ourselves so that we could fully enjoy the pool area. The maintenance man showed up with a new filter 30 minutes after we changed the filter ourselves (4 days into our trip). We had just lost hope that they were coming, but I guess we were just impatient.

Excellent house spacesand a few steps from the beach

If your traveling with a group then this is the place to rent. We had 7 people and had plenty of room. Plus they have an elevator that goes from garage to top floor. My mom struggles with the stairs and it was very helpful to have. Plus made moving luggage and trash from floor to floor a lot easier.

Ten of us stayed at Sand Castle for our annual extended family Christmas get-together and really enjoyed it. Communal space was not huge, but nicely laid out and comfortable, with a sweet deck among the tropical greenery off the living room, and a nice big table that accommodated the whole crew with ease. Pool and hot tub were lovely, and the ping-pong table on the lower level got a lot of play. The kitchen was well-supplied, with a great array of good pans, baking sheets, utensils for group cooking and baking (my only complaint there is that the knives in the wonderful full set in the knife block were really dull--which is totally typical for a rental, but if you're a serious cook, you might want to bring a sharpener :D). There are free tennis courts nearby, the beach a couple blocks away, and lots of good restaurants, many of which deliver. Grocery store, drug, and liquor are really close, too. And this is going to sound silly, but when I needed to go to an urgent care clinic (20 minutes away), my husband and I stopped at the McDonald's in Bradenton on Manatee Drive on the way back and had THE BEST french fries I've had in at least 20 years. It was a HUGE boon to have an elevator--I was on crutches with a sprained ankle, and several of the older family members would have struggled with the stairs, so we were all grateful for the assist! We had a couple of minor issues with a door and a running toilet, both of which were addressed quickly and with zero fuss. All in all, we had a wonderful time, the house was clean, well-stocked, and well-managed, and was this was just a really relaxed, pleasant place to hang out with the gang.

This property is rented out and “maintained” by a property management company on AnnaMaria Island. We will never use this company for a rental property again, nor would I recommend any of their properties to any other renter. My family stayed at The Sandcastle Home on Annamaria Island. I was told that we could not possibly get in any earlier than their check in time due to the fact that the home was being “deep cleaned.” Upon arrival at 4pm, it became clear that no deep clean had taken place, nor any cleaning of any kind had taken place in quite some time. The interior of the home was dirty, and by that I mean that the walls were brown where people had put their hands, on the white ledge going to the second floor, around door handles and door jams. The floors were dirty and the white baseboards and corners were brown from caked on grime. The fan in the master bedroom was broken. The doors leading to the patio were black with accumulated mold. The patio was filthy, and the furniture was dirty and covered in leaves. The pool was filled with dirt and leaves and the filter did not work. There were also no cleaning supplies in the house for us to take care of any of this ourselves. On top of the home not being suitable to be rented to anyone, the property management company did not take responsibility for the condition of the home. At every turn there were excuses made. We were told that they would send the cleaning person back to clean the home. This person walked in the door defensive, arms crossed, and began telling me that she had already worked all day and wouldn’t be able to clean the things that I pointed out to her. She finally said she would get started and then walked out of the house after 10 minutes and never returned. I spent the first 3-4 days of my vacation on the phone speaking with the property management employees trying to make the home somewhat comfortable for the remainder of our stay. The pool was out of commision for the first two days that we were there. My family has rented homes every year for the past 20 years and we have never had an experience like this one.

My entire family of 4 adults and 2 children (ages 6 and almost 3) had a fabulous time at the Sand Castle on Anna Maria. We would definitely like to go back soon. Strongly recommend this house - very roomy and a wonderful location.

A really lovely house, very close to the beach. This house is beautifully presented with excellent facilities. The addition of a lift to the top floor makes this house ideal for those with less mobility, giving them the joy of sharing in the luxury of this property. The pool and Jacuzzi were very welcome at any time of the day and provided an excellent outside space. We have stayed on AMI several times and this house is at the top of the list. We would certainly stay here again.

We had so much room and the place was so clean and close to beach. The rental company was so nice to deal with I talked to a Marsha and she was very helpful and so nice. It's my first time renting a vacation home and the process was very easy. I hope to return again someday.

8 family members enjoyed the beautiful home, pool surroundings. We could not stop saying how perfect everything was. The beach is 2 blocks and gorgeous! Very close to pier for kayaking, groceries and trolley stop. We will be back as soon as possible!!!!
