The pool is really refreshing in the humid heat of Manuel Antonio. Nice balcony.

Spacious and clean room, great pool with jungle view (we saw monkeys and birds while swimming), very helpful staff helped me organise my trip, great location near the beach.
3.5
Just a basic room but we only stayed a night.

It wasn't beach front as advertised. It was several hundred meters from the beach and there was another hotel between us and the beach. The towels were awful.
3.5
The location was great. The room was nice. Huge bed. Nice Aircon. Friendly staff.
The pool area was not well looked after.

I wouldn't go again as I needed to work and the wifi was very hit and miss so it was a waste of money for me

Location is nice.
Price was $35/night on the sign outside - maybe if I hadn't booked ahead it would have cost me this much. I booked ahead and my total for 5 nights was $397.
Day 2 I was unable to get cash out due to improper instructions on bank location and bus details from reception staff. I asked for my money back and they informed me it was already gone and they only had $20. So I couldn't leave. And I also no longer had any cash as I put the rest towards the overage charges I was not told there would be.
Day 3/4 I asked to book a shuttle and was denied because the staff were too busy with their friends. Groups of their "friends" who were not staying at rhe hotel were allowed access to the pool and in general, walked all over hotel grounds leaving it to feel a little unsafe for my personal belongings, as anyone was allowed to access all parts of the hotel.
Day 2 they started construction on the structure beside the pool and by Day 4 they were welding and sparks were flying into the shallow (child) end of the pool with no care of burning anyone.
The cleaning was sub par and the place has lots of mold growing.
The fridge was broken.
I understand that to some hotel standards may be ok. And yes, I should have looked into where to get money out myself. But for the area, I do expect a lot more. We came from a HOSTEL prior to this and was given much better treatment.

sooooooo close to the beach and the national park.
They would clean our room really well.
outdated look in the rooms. outside is cute.
the toilet was kind of leaking but they would clean everyday so it was a minor issue.

the location was great and we can go to the Manoel Antonio Nacional Park walking, about 800 mts . that was reallly good because people there charge a lot for parking.. besides, its really very close to the beach and also have a great sunset view
They do not have any cooking facilities, and we asked for cuttery, but they only had one knife and one fork. I'm sure if the invest a little bit more in structure it would be really great.

The location was good for the beach and Manual Antonio National Park. both were in walking distance but there are rip tides so not really safe to swim.
The rooms could do with some TLC
3.5
Perfect location, 10 min walk from the Manuel Antonio park & the beach is across the road
It is not an hotel: no facilities at all. More a motel or an hostel. VERY HUMID, either you freeze with the AC on or you suffocate from the heat and moist. Towels were hard and small. Mattress very soft

location, pool, clean.
no hot water.

Chosen because it was close to the beach, it was perfect for our stay. Just a few mins stroll to the beautiful sandy beach and a strip of cafes, shops, and two ATM machines, as well as the entrance to the famous National Park.
The hotel was functional, and that's OK. We loved the wide balcony that ran outside the rooms in the upper part of the hotel where we were. A drying rack would have been great, and a few hooks inside the room or bathroom to hangup wet towels, but that was a minor inconvenience and there was much to enjoy - such as the fact that the public bus stopped literally at the entrance to the hotel so for a few coins we could scoot up the hill to the famous El Avion restaurant for dinner and safely back.

Actually nothing! I am definitely not a picky person and own a hotel myself but this place is just plain bad. they are only interested in the money. you have to pay before you have even parked car or could have a look at the roo
I am definitely not a picky person and owned a hotel myself for many years, but this place is just plain bad and a ripoff. You have to pay in full at arrival before you can even park your car or see the room. we hat two room and both were smelly and run down and had nothing to do with the nice pictures on booking. you only get one towel per person. the bathrooms were tiny and ugly. when the shower door fell out and nearly hurt me I asked them to repair it the next morning. nothing happened. when I complained that there was no remote for the tiny tv, K was told the will bring it to the room. they didn‘t. when my son went to the reception to get one, they gave him the wrong one. we never got one that worked. we decided to leave one day early because it was do bad and of course didn‘t get a penny back. The owners are just after the money and have never heard anything about customer service. I can only advise. „DON‘T GO THERE“ if you want to enjoy your vacation.

The only nice thing about this place was the pool
The bed was very uncomfortable, I could feel the springs, there is a lot of mold in the bathroom, closet and some in the rest of the room
