My husband and I loved our stay at Mermaid Crossing! I would definitely recommend it to others.
The house is clean and comfortable, and nicely decorated (lots of blue, my favorite color). One of my priorities when I was doing a zillion hours of VRBO research for this trip (I love real estate in general and staying in a nice place is important to me) was a great pool. And this house has it! So beautiful and relaxing - just a perfect outside space and refreshing pool.
Great neighborhood for morning walks with our small dog who travelled with us. Very much appreciated the pet-friendliness of this home.
My husband had to work a lot while we were there and he was able to have a nice desk and workspace in one of the extra bedrooms.
I liked how there were many different cozy areas inside and outside for reading, dining, chatting, visiting, working, etc. Plenty of room for togetherness and also space to be apart when needed.
We left gorgeous Punta Gorda weather to return to rainy and bleak New England. Boo! Would return to Mermaid Crossing in a heartbeat! (Like right now!!)
There were a few small things that could use a bit of attention or touching up, but those were very minor and it was a lovely home and excellent visit for us.

This is a beautiful home inside and out. There were lots of cozy places for all of us. The beds were very comfortable. The best part of the stay was the beautiful outdoor living area. The heated salt water pool was a treat! My grandson had the time of his life fishing off the dock. He caught 8 different kinds of fish. Mermaids were around every corner!

Everything was perfect! The house was well equipped, beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, plush towels and robes, and most importantly, a beautiful and comfortable outdoor area with a warm pool! We caught snook, mangrove snapper, and catfish from the dock, and had dolphins visit several days! All around a great place!

We loved the pool and the outdoor area with the TV. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Ran into some plumbing issues, but hopefully they get that taken care of soon. Owners stayed in touch. The neighborhood was really nice.

This house was perfect for our family’s vacation. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. It has everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the salt water pool, the sunny sitting area and the shaded swing and couch area. We ate most of our meals at a table beside the pool. A highlight was sitting near the channel watching the sun set as a dolphin swam by!!! The owner was very quick to respond whenever I had questions. We would love to stay at this house again.

Perfect set up for grandparents and a young family. We stayed in the master suite with the shower and a large dressing room/closet. The common areas separated the two other bedrooms and bath. Our son, daughter in law and 2 kids occupied that wing. Kids and adults loved the huge saltwater pool.
We had a minor pluming problem and the owners had someone out that day. They stayed in contact with us throughout our stay.
The towels are SPA quality and amazing!! The kitchen is well equipped with anything you’d need. Beautifully decorated. Homey and clean.
Try PIZZA GOURDA & GiGis Ice cream while you’re there.

This property was great! The house was so cutely decorated and had everything one would need! The kitchen had every tool to make meals. They say “it’s all in the details” and this did not disappoint! Julie was very nice and any questions we may have had, she answered immediately. The pool area was very nice and the location being on a canal was perfect. Lovely neighborhood. We had such a nice, laid back, relaxing time at Mermaids Crossing! Thank you!

Beautiful home very nicely decorated and well appointed with nice touches. Comfortable beds nice towels and sheets very clean. Great location peaceful and quite but close enough to town for the night life action. Overall a wonderful experience.

Perfect house in Punta Gorda
We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect house . The pool was great and the lanai was very well laid out and a huge plus. We’ll appointed kitchen and great extras - kayak, bikes, beach chairs & beach towels all included. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to restaurants in historic district & Fisherman’s Village.

Excellent location
We were in town on business and this house is close to everything! We truly enjoyed our stay, the house is spacious and very nicely decorated. The hosts are very responsive and went out of their way to help me with a situation that I was in. I cannot thank you enough.

We enjoyed meals in the house and it had every kitchen gadget, utensil, appliance, etc. we needed! Any question we could have had were already answered In the instructions left for us. We spent most of our time out on the lanai, a lot of furniture to pick from and all very comfortable. Very nice touch by the homeowners and agent Skye of providing a bottle of champagne for NYE! We knew going in that the pool wasn’t heated, and that was really the only thing we would change about the property. Great location and we would rent again.

Great property!
The house was very cute and cozy. Plenty of room for my family of 4 with 2 teenage girls (19 and 13). We had everything we needed. The house was very clean and comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!
