This accommodation proves that you don't need the luxury 5 star bells and whistles of flashier places to provide a memorable experience. We were assigned an ensuite cabin (#3). Turned out we had booked a family cabin. Two bedroom with a double and two single beds. Functional bathroom and kitchenette. Each room has it's own TV with all the channels. Covered carport outside the door, outside seating. The double bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in during our travels. (I had such a deep sleep I didn't even snore!) The park is in a quiet street, but still in walking distance to shops, pubs, etc. and the CBD. The cabin itself was a brick building so there were no noise issues, even from passing vehicles and pedestrians. The lady at reception was very friendly and processed our arrival and departure swiftly and smoothly. Yes, it's in a caravan park, accommodation was basic,; dated, worn and far from modern. But it was comfortable, clean, neat and tidy. We will definitely stay again when next in Cootamundra.

Bathroom was dated and basic. Shower a bit tight.

Good spot, good value, short work to pub and nice to be in a cabin/fully detached comapred to motel room for late arrivals/beers etc.

I liked the accommodation chosen for us. One thing there were no white towels I loved that, I have a thing for white towels. We were lucky they had a lot of rain the night before & they had to evacuate. The lady told us about it she was giving us the chance to go somewhere else. I thought that was nice a lot of places wouldn't give you a choice.

There was nothing that stands out that I didn't like. Pretty much everything was fine with the place.

The location, the owners, the grounds - almost everything was wonderful: sweet little caravan park in a beautiful country town. I just wish I had a caravan or camper so I could hook it up, put out my lawn chairs, and relax in the peaceful surrounds!

I hesitate to say anything negative because I really did enjoy my stay. But for the sake of a review, I'll put this observation out there, not as a criticism but simply for completeness and expectation management. I stayed in a cabin and while it had everything I needed, for my taste it was a little on the basic side comfort-wise. It has aircon, which was wonderful, and the owners were very kind to have it running for me before I got there so the place was cool (it gets hot out in Coota!) but the place had a bit of a demountable feel, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable. Also, it was a cabin for six and I couldn't imagine six people in there: it would be bursting at the seams. BUT all that said, obviously it's not The Ritz, so basic is par for the course. The value for money is good. And I think my stay would have been close to perfect with my own caravan and creature comforts. Even roughing it in a tent would be fun! The place really is lovely. I guess, in a nutshell: the cabins are convenient but they don't reflect the park's charm.
