Our car got stuck in the sand just outside the gate. Two bedrooms had sandy sheets, which the cleaning ladies refused to change. Gas stove was out of gas when we arrived. The guard helped us get a fresh can. Two bedrooms didn't have hot water. The guard called someone to fix it. One en suite shower head is pointed horizontally, so it was spraying water outside. It was a big struggle to take a shower. One toilet was loose and shaky. Some pillows had a strong smell TV didn't work, so we couldn't watch rugby

We were not offered breakfast since we were told its a self catering guest house and we were very fine with that

The only thing that I didn't like is the fact that hot water does not come out in the showers in the bathrooms upstairs but only come out from the taps so we had to use buckets and basins for collecting hot water from the taps to bath.

Very helpful staff giving us information how to get to the hotel from Maputo with public transportation. Very spacious and beautiful house. Beach is in a walking distance.

There was no sign anywhere, so we had to ask a random person to call the place even though we were right in front of the house.

We arrived later than anticipated, so the host had already been asleep, but we managed to get him up He was very helpful! Jolito was a great help in everything!

There are staff living on the property who are attentive and there to help by cleaning up and replenishing any consumables. The location is also good as it is set off the beach and protected from the wind but is less than 5min walk to the beach, town and market.

This is tough because there wasn't much that I didn't like but if I had to nit pick, the fans could be quieter, the onsuite shower in one of the rooms could have been better, but these were minor. If I can be constructive I would recommend adding some screening on the driveway side of the veranda and a swinging wooden gate at the entrance to the veranda so as to minimize the wind on the veranda when the onshore is blowing.
