The breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and very much homemade- just what we needed traveling for an extended period. Nothing was too much trouble.

There was NO fans available when the temp was over 34. They did respond that some had been ordered but had not arrived.

It was perfect!

A very beautiful mansion with tastefully furnished rooms, filled with beautiful scents and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious enough. The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing - super fresh produce and freshly baked goods and bread.

We got a room with the river view, and that meant that we would hear frogs all night long. Also the main road was right under the window, so we had a bit of car noise. Also the window was not closing completely, a lot of water was pouring through due to the storm in the night.

One of the best places we have ever stayed in. The house is stunning. Beautifully decorated. Excellent location. And most importantly Agnes is the most wonderful host. You have to visit.

An exceptional property on the Loire. Agnes has a wonderful eye for detail and Maisonette Hulotte is absolutely stunning. There is also a lovely courtyard garden for guests to use. Aside from the stylish and comfortable house, Agnes is a super host who provides a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast (lots of homemade produce) .. all served on gorgeous crockery. Such a pleasurable stay!

This is a beautiful property with lots of extra personal and decorative details for a lovely stay. It was very close walking distance to Chateau d’Ambroise and town.

Everything. The house is gorgeous and the host was so very pleasant to us. We had a fabulous breakfast; she made us scrambled eggs that were amazing! I will definitely be back to visit.

this was the most beautiful bed-and-breakfast I have ever stayed at. every detail was accounted for. It was spotless, well decorated and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect. I could not have been happier and the next time I return to the Loire Valley this is where I will stay

Great B&B with an amazing host. The staff was hospitable and made us feel at home. There is also a bonus pottery room where she can teach you how to make some cool pottery.

The accommodation was in a very attractive and spacious historic house between the chateau and the river. It was beautifully furnished and our room was very comfortable. The hostess was very welcoming and provided excellent breakfasts.

Our stay at Maison Hulotte was the highlight of our trip! The house is fabulously decorated, extremely clean and comfortable rooms. Agnes was a wonderful host going out of her way to make us feel at home. Freshly baked treats for breakfast are superb. We will be coming back again! :)

this is a fabulous house built in the 1750,s has been extensively renovated and given a contemporary style without taking from the character of the house. A very nice atmosphere at breakfast and good opportunity for meeting other guests.

unfortunately in our case We didn’t think the accomadation was in keeping with the house, The bedroom was an adequate size but had no wardrobe, not even a hanger or any accomadation to hang any clothes. As it was extremely warm we asked for a fan to help cool the room, but nothing available. The room was not en suite, but we did have a private bathroom across the hall, not ideal for everyone. parking not available at the property, but free parking available near by.

Everything, this is a truly perfect place to stay. The breakfast’s were amazing. the host is an exceptional cook and very happy to provide suggestions on where best to eat in town.

My wife and I loved our stay at Maison Hulotte. Consistent with the reviews we read before our trip, the best part of the stay was having Agnes as a host to make sure we felt at home, including making fantastic restaurant recommendations and reservations for us. She also makes a nice fresh breakfast for everyone in the morning. The building is very pretty with well decorated common areas, and is in a great location.

Be forewarned that the rooms don't have AC in case you come during an unusually hot summer like we did. The mattress was pretty firm and not as comfortable as others we slept on during other parts of our trip.
