The inside was absolutely lovely, Just like the pictures. It was really clean and the beds were very comfy. Having 2 bathrooms made a difference. It was spacious, there were 7 of us and we had more than enough space. It served it's purpose.

The rubbish on the driveway at the back was horrific. There was broken glass, which isn't ideal when you've got kids getting out of the car. The bins were over flowing and it was all over the drive. Pulling up and seeing babies nappies where your parking your car is disgusting. The heating was also extremely noisy throughout the night, it kept most of us awake as it would go off each hour, it was very loud banging from the pipes. The house directly opposite at the back has a man who exposed himself as we were leaving in our car, I'd just be aware of this, especially if travelling with children. The bathroom at the front of the house also had no blind which was odd. If your staying here for Alton towers it is a 40 minute drive which was annoying as we had previously read 20 minutes away.

The beds and sofa were all very comfortable! We slept well and there was enough room for us all.

Generally, the decor was very nice, there was lots of space and the house was clean. It was not as nice as the photos used online though so think these may have been taken a while ago.

On the listing it talked about parking to the front of the property as well as the driveway at the rear. The parking at the front was directly on the A34- a busy dual carriageway which we felt was not safe to leave our second car there. There was one space on the drive at the back which we used. We had to book this last minute and hadn't appreciated that it was right on a busy, fast main road. This meant it was very noisy in Bedroom 5 at the front of the property and the lounge, so was surprised no one had ever mentioned this in the reviews. My husband and I slept in Bedroom 1 in the basement on the first night and the mattress was really uncomfortable as it bowed in the middle. As we had more bedrooms than we needed we moved to Bedroom number 2 on the second night, but was unsure if the sheets had been changed as they were stained and there were hairs in the bed. We also found a pair of knickers hanging on the radiator by the headboard! What was most disappointing is the Host company YourStays asked for our feedback but then never responded. All I got was what seemed an automated reply to say there was parking on the driveway at the back of the property?!

Huge house, with stylish decoration on the inside, mcuh bigger than it appears on the outside, with plenty of free parking to the rear, and also on the driveway. Very comfy beds. YourStays made check in easy, and we will be sure to be back for our next job in the area!

The location is easily accessible to all attractions we wanted to go to. It was also very spacious and comfortable for all 9 of us. Property was clean and having 2 toilets/shower was highly convenient. I set the fire alarm off making toast 🤦🏽‍♀️and hosts were quick to respond and assist!! Great property and wonderful hosts!!

I had booked this house for a family trip to Alton Towers and was extremely happy with the state of the house and the facilities that it offered. It was only 25 minutes away from Alton Towers and had supermarkets only 5 minutes down the road. The house was exceptionally clean and was a true resemblance of the images on this site. The owners were easy to contact and helped with any queries or requests I had. Thank you for making our time extra special with this amazing property!
