everything was good , the breakfast the kindness of the staff

as it is a big pansion to have a place to wash our clothes like a washing machine that we can pay to wash .also a hot water kettle for making tea or coffee . There is no WIFI in all the rooms

I like that I was met by the owners and that they showed me around. I like that the place was super clean, comfortable and if someone walked in I was introduced to them. I like that my bed was so comfortable, I dreamt great dreams. My room was quiet and they gave me a portable heater to keep it warm, yet at the same time, I could open the window and have fresh air. If didn't want to go out to eat, they had a super nice kitchen with a counter to sit 4. It reminded me of an old-fashioned cafeteria and made me feel very much at home. After 3 days, time to go. I got big hugs and the owner help me carry my luggage to the taxi. The taxi service is linked with their Hotel and therefore I got a big savings. The best experience, location and renewed spirits for me.

Everything and especially their hospitality

Owner and staff very nice in morn if they were about and lunch & dinner time. and helpful some could speak very little English.. Dinning room locked after breakfast time, lunch & dinner time so you could not make a tea or coffee... Plenty of hot water. Hotel nice and warm.... Air-conditioning in bedroom which was good.. The breakfast very basic and had to look for yourself if things weren't about...... Lunch and dinner excellent well worth 8 euro...

Owner or any staff member were not around to meet you.. Gad to wait along time for owner to come.. Wifi you could only get at hotel.. You could not use mobile data to expensive make sure its turned off... Room smaller than thought in phto shown was bigger... I had a wall tight beside single bed very difficult to get in and out of bed. Bathroom very small and tight shower head lying on shower floor no holder to hold it up.. Shower curtin just hanging on a few of rings. Toilet tight beside shower difficult to get in and out of shower. Very dirty under bed. I had one small towel for the week... Rubbish and bedding lying on landing corridor dusty. Very noisy at night inside and out side. You could here coaches and bin lorry. Plugs loose and wires showing..

Hotel Matal is clean ,tidy ,walking distance to St. James church ,from the Shops, souvenirs shops, excellent location. Fom Matal Hotel room you can see the apparition hill specially at night .
