Location, view, and balcony was great. Just enough room for 2 people and a dog. Step out the door, make a right & walk down the hill to the town about 5 minutes. At the bottom of the hill make a right and go under the freeway to the beach, doggies welcome. However on our 2nd day at the beach, there was a heavy petroleum smell. The dog even smelled afterwards. During the day this place gets LOTS of natural sunlight through very clean windows. The deck is new and perfect for hanging out, but I did bring my own reclining lounge chair. Parking was also right in front of the door and the "no parking sign." I don't think a 2nd car would fit though. Lots of places to eat within 10 to 15 minutes drive to Santa Barbara, Montecito, & Carpinteria.

Bed was very springy and uncomfortable. No AC in the summer would be very hot (they do have lots of fans in closets), but during the winter it was fine. Older place so it had a certain smell, but we brought our own air freshener and plug in = ) If you plan on cooking, bring your own seasoning & oil. 2nd bedroom didn't have a window, so stuffy (we didn't use this room at all). The view & location was perfect, but the CONSTANT traffic noise is hard to ignore since you are REALLY close to the freeway. Refrigerator is really cold, like freezing (even though the sign says it doesn't work very well??), but we did mostly take out. Not a property issue, but FYI the area has very little area (grass, wood chips etc.) for dogs to do their business.
