Very warm welcome from John on arrival and he was so helpful and relaxed, just what I needed after a long journey. The guest house was very clean and comfortable, the room was spacious and had everything you could need. It felt very peaceful and quiet and only a 5 min walk from the train station.

Everything! Greeted with a smile and a warm handshake. I was then shown to my room and it was roomy and spotless . There was a double bed ,and two singles , an ensuite Toilet and shower together with fresh towels. There was a TV and Tea/ Coffee facilities also. The bed was super comfy too , honestly I couldn’t fault the place if I tried . I was offered but declined breakfast as I was away early next morning but after smelling the cooked breakfast the next morning I wish I’d taken up the guys offer. Was it value for money or the going rate ? I’m not sure as I don’t do this very often as I was only there for a football match . BUT my friends stayed elsewhere for £40 pp per night and it was very basic and from what they told me and it was only for 1 night I’m glad I paid the extra £20 . Happy days .

Excellent overnight accommodation close to city centre and especially the theatre. Very warm welcome from John on arrival. The room and facilities were better than expected for a single, spacious and spotlessly clean. Nice quiet road. I definitely recommend.

There is limited free parking at the front of the property which is great, but quite tight spaces and I parked on the road instead.

The Room was nice. The owner was very helpful.

Host was very hospitable. We had a delay with our transport on leaving and the host let us have use of a room for the time we were waiting

John was very professional, the room was immaculate excellent space for a single room! The en-suite was lovely and clean seamless check in and check out. Although I didn't eat breakfast it smelled delightful this morning. I'll certainly be back and recommending my customers to stay. Thanks agai

This place is absolutely spotless -- the bathroom looked brand new -- and the welcome is very warm and friendly. Very comfortable and cozy.

It's a little bit of a hike from the center of town with suitcases (but an easy walk when unencumbered).

I had a small single room which was fine for me. TV en suite comfortable bed. Good value for money

Close to the town centre, communication before and during our stay was amazing. It was such a quiet street and our baby slept in even longer in the morning then she does at home so that's even more of a bonus.
