Great house in a great location.

It was e very nice house directly in the village center, with every nice terrasse und very traditional interior. It is quite easy to come from the village by bus the the beach in Port de Soller and back. The restaurants in the village are quite nice to passe the evening there, after swimming.

The house is in an absolutely stunning location and is filled with character. The house is filled with beautiful objects and artwork and feels very traditional. We loved the roof terrace and visiting the Panderia opposite the house to pick up fresh pastries each morning. It felt very special to stay somewhere with so much character and personal touches. The house is also filled with traditional glasses and tableware which made cooking at home even more special. The house is a short walk from the local square which is filled with lovely cafes and bars and there are plenty of choices for places to eat in Fornalutx. There are some wonderful walks nearby and the landscape is absolutely stunning. We would recommend walking to Biniraix and Binnibassi to explore the local landscape. We hope this lovely house keeps its history and character! Thank you for having us :)

We would love the mattresses to have been more comfortable- I was travelling with my Mum who found that she couldn't sleep because the bed was too uncomfortable. If the mattresses were updated, our stay would have been perfect.

beautiful terrace views, charming old Mallorca property, quirky but very usable space, v easy access to village facilities and mountain walks. a bit of a gem at this price , gorgeous setting

well, it has its quirks.. only a curtain and thin wall between the 2 bedrooms, having to walk through one room to reach the other, basic kitchen…can be noisy early morning as it’s on the main access road through fornalutx but to be fair, the value ur getting is the same price for 1 room in a hotel, so really these points are low priority for someone or a couple who are willing to put up with the quirks of this 300 year old (or so) building

Great location in the centre of Fornalutz. Lots of space, decent towels. Lovely view from the terrace. Newish 3 ring ceramic hob and nice fridge freezer (though the light didn't work).

Chipped and greasy plates, cutlery with dried on food. Saucepan with food burnt to the bottom, stained table cloths. Dirty light switches, strange mix of different coloured bedding. Larger of the two beds in the main bedroom creaked very noisily every time I moved. Strong smell of damp in the ground floor living room. Arrived to find a rack of wet sheets and towels in the bathroom. Defensive and unhelpful owner, who we never met (in fact I still don't know their name). The house feels like someone lived there for years and moved out the day we arrived. Drawers are full of old bills, there are family snap shots pinned to the walls, cupboards are packed with junk. Railing on the stairs to the terrace are held together with cable ties, wiring is all surface run and seems very elderly. Note that although it is advertised as a three bedroom house one of the beds is in the ground floor living room (which is the main entrance) and one is on the landing outside the main bedroom with only a curtained doorway between the two rooms. I'm guessing that this is why there are only two pictures of the interior of the house. The stairs to the terrace are very steep - definitely not suitable for small children. Wish I could be more positive - with a bit of TLC this could be a lovely place to stay, but at present it's disappointing.
