Everything about this place was amazing. The hosts were extremely welcoming, gave us tons of recommendations, the place was comfortable and clean, we had all the amenities we could need!

Location in town is great, parking available on the property and more.nearby. Kitchen is well equipped and nice breakfast is included. Common toilets and douches were.clean and in good condition. Decent beds and nice host.

House.looks rather old and can use maintenance. Wifi point on the floor in the hallway and some wall power points were loose and not safe.

Iceland is expensive at the time we went. The price for our stay was cheap to others but still expensive.

We stayed here for a final night as we had to be at the airport early. The place felt very welcoming, al information was provided by Dagmar, all facilities in place, and we could just have whatever for breakfast as all was present in the kitchen, which was very handy for an early morning.

The hosts were lovely and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable- we would definitely come back!

Door slams, door closures needed restore. Missing mirror in shower room, the double bed under the sloping wall seems a bit cramped.

I was charged nearly 50 USD for a breakfast, but they never made it for me. These people hate tourists and view us as scum that they can exploit. Really nasty spite ridden people that have a burning hatred for foreigners. Go to a proper hotel where you will be treated with respect. The owners will lie and say that none of this is true, but check out my other reviews. I have stayed in numerous hotels and most are excellent. Don't get involved with these people.

Don't stay here, these people are scammers that will steal your money. I booked the hotel at the last minute, but then had to cancel just over a day later, as I couldn't make it to the hotel because my daughter became seriously ill and I had to fly home to take care of her. They proceeded to charge me the full amount for the stay, including 50 USD for a breakfast that they did not prepare. The owner Dagmar then proceeded to send me a series of abusive emails, basically taunting me about how she was keeping all of my money. She is really crazy and tries to gaslight every situation. You can guarantee that she will reply to this review with some lies about how she is somehow a victim in all of this, even though she has taken 200 USD of my money and gave me nothing in return. Do yourself a favour and go stay in a proper hotel where you can trust the management staff and will be treated with respect. These people will steal your money the first chance they get!

A little noisy and small with thin adjoining bedroom walls.

I was before in so many Fosshotel all over Iceland. Grindavik Guesthouse was so far the best.
