Let me get this straight: the accommodation itself was spotless. The only reason why I had to give imperfect score on the cleanliness category is because the property reeked of weed during pur the entire stay. Other than that, we had a very positive experience with this accommodation. Comfortable bed, A+ location, great value for money, and most of all, the host was a very kind & generous lady who let us keep our luggage in their property until 2pm (checkout time was 10:30am). No other accommodation in Italy was this generous in our experience.

PROS: great location, very friendly host who answers questions very fast, usually within 1 hour.

CONS: I really wanted to like this room, because the host was so nice and welcoming. However, my biggest complaint is the noise and talking I heard in my bedroom. It came from the host's house next to my bedroom wall and I could hear almost every word. I wanted to go to bed at 21:30, but I had a hard time to sleep due to the noise. Also, the WiFi kept going in and out, and I hardly had a reliable connection. The shower head fell down on my as soon as there was water pressure. I used the smaller second shower head instead. When opening the shower door, something came apart. The headboard of the bed was not attached to the bed but a frame e by itself. It is made of iron and very uncomfortable if one wants to lean back and read.

We liked the location, which was in the historical center of Pienza. We also loved that the room was big and spacious.

One of the reasons we wanted this place was that from looking at the photos, it looks that there is a shared kitchen so we thought we could buy some groceries to make ourselves a small breakfast. When we arrived we realized we're only able to use the fridge and the water tap as the tables are only available for if you order breakfast from the staff. We probably could've figured out it in advance if we contacted the place. But that's really was the only downside of our stay there, apart from that, everything was great.

Staff were great, so friendly and helpful. Accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. Location was superb for seeing Pienza and close to parking.

The Unesco site is amazing as is the whole area of Tuscany. You need a car to make your vacation a blast riding the windy roads of these parts.
