The location was just perfect! Quick walk and only a few steps to the beach. The home was clean and very nicely maintained and appointed. 10 out of 10 this is a great spot! The hosts were excellent communicators as well.

It was relaxing listening to the waves as you sipped wine on the deck.
Location was great to come and go from various attractions. (Shipwreck Museum, the Falls, Soo Lock Tours, Pictured Rock Seashore
Beach walking was delightful. House was equipped with everything you needed and then some..

Beautiful property. We loved our time here! Very peaceful- you can walk for miles along the sandy beach and collect beautiful Lake Superior stones. Highly recommend! There is a gas grill which was nice for our dinners- and fire pit for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. AMAZING vacation and just what we needed to unplug and relax!

The home is beautiful as well as the view. We knew from the picture that there were some stairs to go outside but were surprised at the long staircase to the main part of the house. My husband has some walking issues so it was a challenge but we made it work.
The stairs to the beach also do not have a handrail which was a bit precarious.

Great experience, slowing down and enjoying the view and comfort here. Super clean and most comfortable rental bed I’ve ever slept in! Don’t hesitate to book if you’re looking for a place to stay in Paradise.

Our stay here completely exceeded our expectations! Tim and Sue were outstanding with communication, everything from the basics of the house and check in to where to find groceries. The house is immaculate and so soothing and comfortable. It was perfect for a few day break in the middle of our busy holiday trip. We especially enjoyed the solitude and private, sandy beach. We had everything we needed, including comfy beds and a great downstairs space for the teens to call their own. We would definitely stay again if in the area and highly recommend it to anyone considering it.

It is a BEAUTIFUL home, with all of the amenities and a beautiful location.
The only thing (which is obviously outside of the control of the managers / owners) is that biting flies at the beach looking onto Lake Superior were TERRIBLE, and made any attempt to enjoy the lake view at the beach thoroughly miserable.
I really wish we would have known what an issue the flies were, so that we may have considered other options for potential rental.
Otherwise, the owner / managers were great. Sweet little town and beautiful scenery.

Everything was perfect. My only recommendation would be to have a regular coffee pot instead of/in addition to the Keirig.

We had a nice trip over the Memorial Day weekend. The house was very nice and clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was nice to be at the cottage and there were also a lot of things to do fairly close by. The only thing that could’ve made it better would have been a nicer area around the fire pit. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was the perfect place for a cozy winter weeked. The fireplace was awesome and my wife and I loved looking out at the lake every morning. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Great stay!

We stayed for a long weekend. The house was great. The location was perfect. Falls were beautiful. The weather wasn’t perfect and we had 20mph sustained winds, but the house is located on the bay side which means the lake and waves are quieter. Even with the weather, the trip was amazing. I would definitely go back.

We had a Top Notch, Amazing, Awesome weekend in your little slice of Paradise!! Home was clean & cozy, location was perfect and property was so beautiful! Had the windows open every night to listen to the wonderful lapping lake. Enjoyed beers and wine lake side with our feet in the sand. Communication was A+! We loved walking the beach, touring the Great Lake Shipwreck Museum was incredible and heartbreaking (highly recommend), Tahquamenon Falls (Upper, Lower, and Clark Lake Loop hike - 13 miles was so wonderful!!) We added the brewery to our gorgeous full day at the falls, and the ORV trails were a blast!! We made the most of our weekend and everything about our stay was Incredible!

This property is top notch! We will never forget watching the moon rise over the lake, simply amazing. We stayed in and cooked but very convenient to get into town for ice cream at least once. Tim is extremely responsive and helpful, highly recommend!

This is a great place, and it was so relaxing to stay here! The sound of the water hitting the shore, the sun coming through the trees, fuller sun on the beach, the skipping stones that are naturally formed on the beach, the comfort of the furniture and the beds, The fact that everything is fresh and new, made this place a great experience. We would highly recommend.

The home is situated roughly 50-feet from the water's edge on a stunning string of beaches with few neighbors and clear views of Canada. The home was immaculate, with dark, matching decor and modern, high-end amenities. The location is such that it affords the perfect spot to base trips to Pictured Rocks (1.5h), Tahquamenon Falls (20-min) and Mackinac Island (1h to Ferry). There are ample spots to swim and fish and the hiking is fantastic. The nearby town of Paradise (13mi) is small, but has most of the necessary provisions - although cash is recommended over credit here. The nearby Shipwreck Museum/Bird Sanctuary was an added, and unexpected bonus to the area. The owners were especially helpful, with quick replies and offers of advice. Overall, I highly recommend.

Communication with our host was easy and quick. We enjoyed the beach and the beautiful home. They have a generator in case of power outage.

Tim and Sue’s place is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the UP. Tanya is keeping the house in great shape and super-clean. We stayed at the house for a week and it didn’t get boring, sun rise, moon rise, beach walks, trips to Munising and Taquamenon falls, watching birds, the lake… just stunning. I definitely recommend Tim and Sue’s place for everyone looking for a peaceful getaway vacation! And as a plus, the beds are super comfortable

The view from the deck was spectacular. The lakefront beach with clear water dotted with rocks provided a great place to dip your toes in the sand and water while hanging out in the afternoons. The cabin was modern and the beds were comfy. Tim and Sue were the consummate hosts - very responsive. Great place to get away from it all!

The new home was really lovely. It was a good home base for a weekend of snowmobiling and exploring in the area. Felt remote but close enough to get supplies and go for dinner. It was extremely clean, comfortable and so nice just to sit and watch Lake Superior. The Roku TV was a nice touch, kitchen had everything we needed and bathrooms had plenty of towels. The beds are also super comfy.

We loved our stay here - the home is beautiful and well furnished. But what we really loved the was the outside space! Loved the beach, we had great weather so spent a lot of time walking the beach or reading in the sun. We had great fires and were protected from the wind. Not far from local attractions like the falls and lighthouse. Be prepared, there not many options for eating so plan and bring your own food. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment. The deck has a great view of the lake, and we loved listening to the waves. We even used the fireplace one cold night. Great place to stay

This home base for your U.P. adventures is an easy win. The location is perfectly remote for the "away from it all" vibe, yet only 9 miles from some great places to eat or pick up basics to cook at home. Need more than basic conveniences? Just plan an afternoon at the Soo and pick up what you need on the way back. This home is true to the listing; beautiful, comfortable, clean, and ready to take its place in your vacation memories for years to come. Bonus, if you travel with a UV flashlight, the beach will often gift you with a couple Yooperlites too! Just be sure not to step on the toads who visit the beach at night (give my best to Allen and his family if you cross his path). Happy and safe travels to you all and many thanks to Tim & Sue for sharing this wonderful home. And a big thank you to Tanya who somehow manages to vanquish every grain of sand between renters.

Tim and Sue are first-rate hosts, and their beautiful new home overlooking Lake Superior is a 5-star beauty. The home is tastefully designed, and well appointed with comfortable beds and furniture, modern appliances, and upscale finishes throughout. It was immaculately clean, including sparkling windows which provide unobstructed views of the large trees, sandy dunes and scenic waterfront from the kitchen and living room. All of this and more, make Tim and Sue's property a truly exceptional find.
