Cosy and Comfy once settled

Area looked unsafe and worrying.

the room was clean the bedsheets and towels smelt fresh and clean.

The fridge is switched off and had an awful smell coming out of it. And the shower door was literally half hanging off you cannot close.

I liked that the area was close to nearby restaurants and shopping area. In addition being close to work. The checking in instructions were super easy to follow . I liked the small touches of a pair of slippers!!

Good location and comfortable room with fantastic TV,, fridge, microwave and kettle. Ideally fir short term stay.

Creeky floor above but not a massive issue

there was no toilet roll no cups for drinks and the bed wasn’t the best.

When I was booking for the stay it says free parking but its free only after 5pm. So before that it was nightmare to find parking around anywhere.

the location was great: not too far from shops and public transport links. The room was lovely and had great facilities

some other residents were noisy at times. Loud music at 7am in the kitchen. Constantly banging doors and talking very very loud in the middle of the night

Towels were clean and soft.

Floor was dirty. No natural light. No kettle. No waste paper bin. Bed squeaky. Shower screen missing. Okay for one night.

The room is very spacious,warm,clean and tidy. Amenities in the room are excellent,comfortable bed,50”tv, small equipped kitchenette and en-suite. Its also close to shops and pubs.

The bed was comfy, a decently large tv was available, A private kitchenette was provided.

The wifi sometimes shuts down, but that's the only issue.

The property was very central and close to the University of Birmingham where I was volunteering for the games

I had to go up 2 flights of narrow stairs which I was not warned about when booking. Cleaning needs improving- there were used items in the bathroom and under the bed from persons who stayed there previously Although promised, there was no cutlery and crockery in the room , and not much else!! There was no bin in the studio- I was expected to go up and down the stairs to use the communal bin in the kitchen Apart from a skylight there was NO windows in the studio The shower temp could not be adjusted- it was HOT or HOT, which was not good in the hot days we were having The bed was uncomfortable and noisy, there was not even a bath mat on the floor in the shower room and non provided Access to the property was near impossible- as the front security light was not working I could not even see the key box or be able to open it ( I got there late at night) The area is noisy throughout the day and night

Perfect location for the Commonwealth Games Hockey. Very poor value for money. Very cheaply built accommodation for a ludicrous price. These rooms rent for £100-£120 per WEEK! And the bed was really bad.

The price. £199 for a student studio when the next night a lovely room with breakfast in the Crowne Plaza was £159.

I have enjoyed so far staying at this accomodation for a week to attend my PhD graduation at University of Birmingham. Coming from Asian country, we like to eat foods that we cooks and comfortable is our priority and also close to university is such a bonus. came across to this accomodation in booking.com just a week before my flight and I am so glad chose this as our first stay after long flight. we were the earlier tenants and get to stay without other peoples around. we get the most privacy to ourselves. all the utensils and kitchen equipment are all new. there should be cooking hob snd microwave in each room, but i think it was not ready so we get to cook at the shared kitchen. got refrigerator in each room which is so nice to keep your own foods. and even a sink. Miss Ishaq who is the person managing the accomodation who is so lovely and so accomodating provided us more towels (althought we have given towels initially) when we asked which usually other places wont providing it. we get to use the kitchen, washing machine and even dryer. we get to have proper clean clothes everytime after we were spending outside for a bit travelling here and there. all the powders for washing machine is provided. Not to mention the big tv who is just installed in the room, I get to watch lots of programmes here which I enjoyed so much. you get to watch netflix and youtube. its a smart tv after all. my parent also enjoyed staying there so much. we get to rest, and use the facilities, feels just like home. althought there was a bit of activities going in and out the building, to prepare the rooms for the upcoming Commonwealth Games 2022 which will happenning sooner, we dont mind at all. the sun coming to the kitchen making the kitchen bright during the day, makes you wanted to spend in the kitchen more and just chill. so far, we have enjoyed so much. hope we will back and get to stay again at the same accommodation.

not having cooking hob in the room which we did not had the chance to cook inside the room. but we get to cook at the shared kitchen and luckily it was just next to our room. which is great. but we always need to mindful if there would be people coming in and out during the day and being mindful to cook some spicy foods which could left some smell and making people sneeze because of the spices.

Kitchen equiped very well. Nice and big apartment. The access to local eateries and retail make it ideal for anyone wishing to renew supplies and eat out. Host very kind: she replied to all my little requests and questions I had and was helpful in every way she could be! Will definitely try to book it (if available)
