Great service and location

Very centric location, ideal for our holiday

This hotel was perfect. The breakfast was well apportioned. The room was fabulous and roomy. Was close to everything and very convenient.

This hotel is in a great location in Intra Murros, just a short walk to one of the main gates (be prepared for big crowds and cobblestone streets that are a bit tricky to negotiate with suitcases) The lobby is light and well decorated and there's a lift. Except for one notable exception - an older woman who was very unfriendly - the staff were great. Standout was Maria when we checked in. Excellent recommendations for restaurants etc. The room (we paid for an upgraded Superior) was very large with a separate area with wardrobe and luggage racks. The condition is quite tired and shabby but very clean and functional and the windows open. However, for this price I would expect more than stirrer sticks and very limited offering of tea bags etc. Also, bedside tables very small and flimsy metal stands. Bottled water was refreshed every day and breakfast was good with plenty of options. Overall a good experience.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and I was impressed! I would like to stay here again when I go to Saint-Malo.

Loved this hotel and the people working there. From front desk to the dining room, super helpful and friendly staff. Wonderful location. Parking can be a problem especially in high season as there is no parking by the hotel and one must park outside the fortified city. But that was a minor inconvenience and we’d return!

Great location; very historic , close to many good restaurants

Location is fantastic. Well priced.

Ideally situated, really close to one of the main gates, car was parked just outside the city walls free for the night. Didn’t have time for breakfast or a longer stay but will definitely use again on a next trip.

This hotel within the walls was perfectly situated for our visit. It was within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to do while waiting for our ferry. The people at réception were really welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We had various requests and each time they took the time to phone different places for us. They made our stay special. Sadly i forgot to get their names. The rooms are clean, comfortable with everything you need. Breakfast was good and the local yoghurt was excellent. There is an sitting room where you can have drinks. Paid parking is available for a limited number of cars. So if you need parking, book in advance. Because of the service we will definitely stay here again.

Service at this hotel was top notch, from email contact prior and responsiveness to parking details, to onsite greeting at checkin. Super friendly staff. We had the family suite and it was comfortable for a family of 4. The pull out sofa bed mattress was not so comfortable, but our kids under 10 didn't really miss a beat. Awesome location in the center of town, it's a keeper.

Clean and modern hotel in a very central location. We arrived early and went off for a wander, when we returned, some 2 hours later, we were told the room was ready! No complaints about the room or the service. All in all a good stay.

We had a great stay and the front desk help was excellent. Parking is very nearby just outside the city wall, and the breakfast was nice for the price. Room was clean and modern.

Just perfect!

The front desk staff were very helpful and very efficient. The hotel has been refurbished in an attractive, classy style. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. We appreciated the convenience of a small refrigerator and a kettle with coffee and tea supplies. The bathroom was very modern. The only suggestion for improvement would be a rubber bath mat for the tub/shower and a grab bar for use while stepping in and out of the large bathtub.

The staff was most helpful and delightful. Our room was excellent as well.

Our second stay and everything good. Staff were wonderful, the room comfortable and right in the middle of town so easy access to everything yet quiet at night. Full marks!

We came to St Malo just as a base to visit Mont St Michel. But now we intend to return to St Malo. And to stay at this hotel. Excellent property, great location, good breakfast (either level) and a bar. Very modern rooms, quick elevator, and EXCELLENT, helpful staff at the desk.

This is a fine hotel in the center of the old town. Hard to think how it could be better. The staff was very helpful when we needed to book a taxi to go to a restaurant a couple of kilometers away. Highly recommend.

We would have given 5 stars for everything if we had chosen continental breakfast, however opting for cooked was a mistake. Three offerings, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Try were all luke warm and very disappointing. The continental breakfast was fine. Now for the positive. The staff were brilliant, helped finding car park. The room was immaculate and made up each day a pleasant bar area but no restaurant which did not matter as surrounded by eateries of all kinds. Our two spaniels thought they were in heaven. Dog beds and bowls provided. Great central location for both inside Intra Muros and outside. Go for it!

Lovely hotel perfectly located inside the St Malo walls. Great location for shopping and dining. Efficient rooms. Front desk and breakfast staff friendly and accommodating.

Our room was clean, comfortable and thoroughly modern. Hotel staff was very pleasant and spoke enough English that I was comfortable knowing what I needed to know. We did not partake in their breakfast, but it looked very appetizing. There are lots of small hotel options in this part of Saint Malo, but I would readily go back to this one.
