Very friendly staff, good location and very peaceful.

Property: - Absolutely clean. - Amazing room & washroom - Free coffee in the lobby is a plus (this is apart from the refreshments provided in the room) - Fresh towels everyday Locality: - We literally walked everywhere. The only time we took the tram was when arriving into the city because we had luggage - Safe and nice neighbourhood - Right next to vondelpark - So many shopping options right outside the hotel in the streets No complains, would 100 percent visit again.

Loved the old charm of the buulding and area. Even being an older building they had a USB port in the room for phone charging.

Hotel is dirty and has a strong cigarette smell in room and linens. Staff is condescending and rude. I would recommend staying literally anywhere else. We arrived and the rooms were gross and we couldn’t breathe it smelt so strong of cigarette. We couldn’t get our money back and the gentleman at the front desk was incredibly rude and condescending. We booked a last minute room at the Hyatt and the commute to the city was worth it to not stay here.

Cheap looking, room and general area condition was awful. Smelled like smoking in several places. Noise and walking from upper floor shaked our roof lights. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. I’ll never going to take this hotel again.

The staff is very helpful and the hotel is a little old but clean. There is no air conditioning but I don't feel a problem because the temperature was cool at night.

The hotel is in a good location, on a quiet street, but the rooms are small and greatly overpriced. The beds are very uncomfortable, with mattress tops that slide easily. My kid fell out of bed at night. No AC, the fridge was locked, the bathroom was small. Overall, a very very basic hotel with hyper-inflated rates.

Location was great!

I stayed in room 217. The room, bedding and towels were very clean with towels replaced daily. It backed onto the Vondelpark so I looked out onto trees and hear birdsong rather than tram and traffic noise.The decor was a little tired and the bathroom was very small but the shower was good with plentiful hot water and I found it ideal as a solo traveller. Reception staff were helpful and informative. For a weekend trip to see the museums and quieter parts of Amsterdam it is ideally placed.

Room was very dusty, carpets round the edges, headboards etc. We all had itchy etes and were sneezong.Mattress topping slides about easily at night. Street facing ground floor room was very noisy, especially early in the mornings. Fantastic position in thr Museum District, near trams and right next to the park. But we will stay somewhere else next time

Excelent location. Walking distance to museums and quite few cafes restaurants. Near to great park for pleasant stroll. Staff was knowlevea le to local amenities and very helpful.

the stay was not good the hotel has a Bug infestation we had Re- Booked 4 Rooms for the next week then tried to cancel with full refund as 4 out of the 6 guys who stayed were covered in bites they sent me photos and videos of the bites and the bugs crawling around the bed and room on the towels the hotel was sent this footage but still refused to refund the the canceled booking so would not recommend any one to stay its not the cheapest or the most expensive in the area but regardless of the cost you would expect the room to be clean and no bed bugs so please stay away, they have not acknowledged any of the footage they were sent and what they are going to do to rectifies the problem they just said Flat no to the refund there are more photos and videos but would need to get the guys permission before posting

Very practical location and you find anything you need in a hotel

The location the hotel is superb, good connections, walking distance to many places of interest.

The rooms were small and the single beds small however the bedding was clean. Not much space to store suitcases. The electronic key stopped working on our floor for two out of the three days we were there so we had to ask someone to come and unlock it each time we wanted to get into the room. It took 15-20 minutes once as the member of staff with the key was somewhere in the building who no one could find! The location was really good. We enjoyed the park and the accessibility to the city. We enjoyed walking around.

Hotel is in a good location in the museum district, only a short walk from Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh. Tram and bus stops are also around the corner. Would stay here again. Breakfast was basic but filled us up. We had a twin room (2x twins) room was very small but we were out all day so it wasn't an issue. No AC so keep this in mind!

We had a triple room in the basement. It had a couple of decent windows which was handy as the room did get quite hot! We overlooked a courtyard/garden which was good as we felt safe opening a window overnight. The room was cleaned every day. Steep stairs (but it is Amsterdam) but there is a lift! Which was very nice and it came quickly when called. Bathroom could do with a little update as the shower leaked water over the floor outside the cubicle and space was tight between the toilet and shower. We were able to leave our bags when we checked out and collect later in the day.

This is a filthy, bedbug-ridden hotel with paper-mache walls located in a nice area. The television and refrigerator didn't work.

Extremely noisy and requests sent in 3 emails prior to the stay were ignored and the staff had no interest in fulfilling the request.

Good location, expensive, over priced but very small rooms and a little bit worn out.

The quality compared to the price, coupled with a quiet location in the Museum Quarter, makes this an absolute bargain. It’s a gem I’ll be staying at again.

Be prepared! This property charges additional fees when you arrive, so just because you thought you had paid the hotel fee and all taxes and all fees, they charge you an additional fee that if you don't pay they will deny you your room. Highway Robbery!!! Stay away!

A good value stay. Great location, friendly service, and fair price. Only issue was that the room was quite dusty and felt like a good vacuum clean was required.
