The best thing and the reason we always stay at this hotel is the Sunset restaurant at this hotel. So good!

We didn’t stay because the outside was so uninviting and dumpy looking. Left and rebooked at Hilton Garden Inn.

BEDBUGS! Avoid this hotel! We did a last minute booking on our way to a funeral. Showed up late, checked in and were not impressed with the cleanliness or lack thereof. The fitted sheet had a large tear in it that had been repaired and one of the pillows had makeup and what appeared to be blood stains. We sucked it up and tried to get some sleep before having to get back on the road. Unfortunately, about 20 minutes after lights out I felt something bite my face above my eyebrow. Turned on the light and saw a bedbug scurrying away. I grabbed it and squished it, but no way I could get any sleep after that! I am very sensitive to the bites and my face was alrady swelling up. We changed into fresh clothes, wrapped everything into trash bags that went in the back of our truck and told the front desk about the bedbug. The person there said they would let management know. Management never contacted me, never returned calls or emails, and definitely didn't return our money. Hotels.com tried to contact them and also got no where.
This was far from the cheapest room available. I am so disappointed in the experience and felt they should have at least returned our money since we were there less than 2 hours and they did not provide habitable accomodations. Awful place, awful service.

Room was incomplete phone was never answered by front desk and the sink drain in the bathtub was out and siting on the ledge the phone blinked a red light all night they didn’t have an extra blower drawer the room had holes and over and needed to be redone and painted

The beds were comfortable and clean; however the comforters were tired looking. The room was generally clean. TVs are okay. The carpets need shampooing, the bathroom walls needed better cleaning but we were comfortable. Frig, micro, drip coffee pot so we brewed our own. Iron and ironing board.
I say all that because I think it was over priced at $129.00/night before taxes.
The breakfast was typical: powdered, watery eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, pancakes, waffles, pastries, coffee, juice. It was mediocre at best.
They allow pets, they have a designated outdoor cannabis smoking area. They sprayed the room with a strong chemical that lingered even after three nights.
The staff was helpful and friendly.

The Pool was closed. It was Hot and I was looking forward to using the pool. So, that was disappointing. I stayed three nights, yet only two towels were provided, housekeeping came in daily and emptied trash but ignored everything else. Room was nice, Restaurant/bar was nice, walking distance to downtown was convenient.

Nothing. Electrical outlets were unsafe. outlet for the blowdryer and coffee maker did not work. Showerhead was ducttaped into place. Desk chair was broken. Too many things were plugged into one outlet. I was very disappointed in what we got for the money we paid. According to review ratings, I expected so much better

Parking was great right outside of door. Staff very efficient. Rooms taken care of without having to state each item we wanted done. Room was in excellent shape and redone very well especially liked comfortable chairs in room.

Beds were great and thje room was quiet. The air conditioner was not the usual motel loud and clunky unit, but it did underperform in cooling the room. We set the temperature at 67 degrees, and I bet it never reached 73 all night. The restaurant, Sunrise, at the hotel did a great job at dinner.

Run down motel. Felt like place was about to fall apart. AC took a while to cool the room. The staff were friendly.

We stayed here a few years ago, and found this property acceptable. This time we both felt it was dirty and poorly maintained, Front desk staff was helpful and friendly, Nice sunset from the restaurant, got seated and water, we waited 15-20 minutes, and never had our order taken. I won’t be back.

There was an awful smell and the condition of the room looked like it was built in the 1960s. We checked out within a half hour. Awful place. Please refund our money immediately.

The tub was a problem. You could not change it from shower to tub. To take a bath.

The room I got was a non smoking room, but yet the room had a really strong smell of tabaco and Marijuana. I talked to the front desk and they gave me a different room. It also had a weird smell but at least it wasn't like 1st room.

The linens that were used were worn and frayed.
We were under the impression that we would have a nonsmoking room - that was not the case. It reeked. They did operate a machine to take some of the smell out, but it really was not enough. This property needs some serious upgrading and work. The staff were nice and professional.

What a delightful surprise to find this Days Inn has a really excellent restaurant which outperforms its mundane name, the Sunset Bar and Grill. In addition, the property is well-staffed with highly efficient and courteous support staff.

Hotel is clean but old. Needs updates. The pool was closed, ice machine broken, etc. staff was very nice.

Great stay at our favorite hotel in Trinidad. Fireworks display across the hwy was awesome!

The hotel is old and needs updating and a deep clean. The bed was comfortable. We had no hot water or water pressure. Someone else's hair was in the shower. At checkout, when I mentioned the above, the woman at the desk said she would write it down, not even an apology.

Our room was very nice with a separated sitting area from the bedroom. Everything was perfect except for the “biggie”. The air conditioner temp adjustment didn’t work. It was set on 61 and the only thing we could do when we got cold was get up and turn it off for a while. Luckily it was a cooler day outside so the room didn’t get very warm. Other than that, we will stay here again.
