This place is really a great deal, great value, clean, and very nice. I will def stay here again, as a Choice member.

Family and I have stayed several times when we travel to Hershey Park Staff is Awesome and very accommodating to my needs

I didn't expect much for price but was surprised it was nice and clean enough. Quite other than occasional train. Staff was friendly. Didn't like: smell of Marijuana around check in desk. Musky smell in room. Outlets didn't work. Black something in freezer. A surprise $50 deposit request when I checked in. I prepaid room when I booked through Expedia. He said it was because I prepaid.

The people at the front desk were friendly and happy to help. I live on coffee, so we asked for extra coffee packs when we checked in, and the gentleman was happy to provide. The room was comfortable, but the tv did have a habit of losing signal, so I recommend you bring a lap top or good book to keep you occupied. The bathroom was very small, only room for one person, and the door blocked the tub when open, so don't expect to get ready with your hubby at the same time. But it was clean, and I loved the lotion they provided on the wall. There were limited electrical outlets, and one side of the bed had no electrical access, so be warned there. Breakfast was not impressive. Ceral, juice, bread and bagles, fat free yougurt, and a waffle maker. I was unhappy that they put the real milk away after breakfast, so the only option was powdered creamer for coffee and tea all day. Next door is a wonderful diner, The Squeaky Rail. We ate there for every meal, and LOVED it. I was VERY happy to have such a good restaurant so close to the hotel. All in all we were happy with the hotel, for the price. They were having a special of $49 a night, so the price was perfect for what we got. I did squish a few bugs in the room, but it didn’t bother me much, and we had no bug bites or skin issues, so the bed and room were properly cleaned. We will stay there again when we need to be in town. Especially, because of the restaurant next door.

Property is not secured.exterior doors had no lock. Rooms were not locked when we checked in. Rooms had smoke odor and smell bad.

It was extremely noisy at the midnight as trucks will arrive and park..

Water was turned off in the area, which was not their fault. But there was no call beforehand letting us know of the situation to make plans. In fact, we were not notified of the situation until after swiping our card for the security deposit. We were staying for one night in preparation for a morning event, so really the only thing we wanted was a place to sleep and get cleaned up in preparation for said event. We found later that other hotels closer to the event had water, so it would have been nice to have warning. The room itself smelled and felt damp as soon as you walked in. The furniture and walls all had nicks in them. There were multiple cable housings pulled from the wall as shown in the pictures. The AC adapter/plug housing for the hairdryer was melted/burnt and plugged into the bathroom outlet, another fire hazard. The majority of the outlets (including the one the microwave and fridge were plugged into) were all controlled by the main light switch instead of being wired separately. The sheets smelled clean at least, and the beds were standard hotel fluffiness. The AC unit was an older knob unit that adjusted hot or cold without temperature selective and worked kind of OK. Breakfast was pretty much the only redeeming part of the stay. Food was restocked if it ran out and there was a decent enough selection for the size of the hotel. I would have liked more than just plain flavor for the bagels, but that’s not really a dealbreaker. Overall, very unsatisfied.

The water pressure was good and the water was hot.AC was good and the internet. Not impressed with the tv did not work,had one channel. Overall not thrilled with it .

I really like this property. It was relaxing.

Good place to stay

Decent place to stay except there's a train yard across the street down the hill and there are loud BOOMS off and on throughout the night.

Great price and 8 minutes from Harrisburg

No frills but had a decent breakfast. We needed a place to stay for a night on a budget and it fit the bill.
