The hotel is in a great location, near everything downtown, great shopping, restaurants, and touristy sites, The people are very friendly and helpful, I got nothing negative to say (except maybe my bed was too soft .... :-)

This charming hotel is very central and an easy walk to the harbour and other tourist sites. Our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was excellent in terms of the offerings with a good mix of local dishes. Only complaint was the hot food was only warm at best - the heat lamps did nothing.
The gym was excellent. A good range of cardio equipment and free weights as well as some weight machines.

We loved the personality of the hotel with its 1940s vibe. Fantastic service at the counter and by the concierge. Outstanding breakfast buffet. Nothing disappointed us. It was a fantastic property and we enjoyed our stay there very much.

My second time here in one month — yes I love this hotel. It has history and character and sits in a wonderful location for everything. The staff are always helpful and friendly. And the breakfast buffet — WOW!

Lovely overnight stay after a cruise ending in Oslo. Checked in at 10.30 and were amazed at being given our room keys immediately. Location was ideal for sightseeing and the breakfast buffet was great. We would definitely recommend and will hopefully return.

This is my second time staying here and I love it. The old world charm, the history, the friendly staff, the amazing breakfast buffet, the location, the comfortable rooms. It is all perfect! They are doing a bit of remodeling currently and I missed sitting in the library bar/cafe at the end of the day. Hope to return again next summer.

The building is very old but it has been modernized. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were friendly. Hotel is within walking distance of the train station and many attractions. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Will definitely stay here again.
