The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly, helpful, receptive to our requests. The Sunday brunch was delicious. I give it a 10

Room was infested with Japanese beetles. All alive. I had to flush roughly 20+ beetles.

For the price, I wish there was a tub and microwave in the room, like at The Comfort Inn (which is half the price and has a free breakfast). Getting on the internet took 1/2 an hour. I had to go to the front desk to get on with my phone, and they said I had to talk to support by phone for my laptop. I finally got connected in both instances, and no one knew why. I ordered room service and asked for potato chips, which they forgot - but later brought me two small bags at no charge.
The service was nice, but for the price, I'll go to The Comfort Inn next time (if there is one in Dayton).

The pool was disgusting. So much hair, bugs and whatever else floating in the water. Didn't seem like a 9.4 rated hotel. I've stayed in others that were rated much lower and about the same quality.

The bed was really hard and rather uncomfortable. The pillows were feather pillows and went flat as soon as your head hit them. Other than that, it was clean and updated nicely.
The bar was a nice feature, however was extremely expensive. My glass of Reisling wine was $14 and hubby's double bourbon pour was $21. Needless to say we only had 1 drink each.
The location was close to the Fraze Pavillion which is why we chose this location.

Stayed here before, and always like this place. Not much on the outside, but well-run, clean, and the rooms have been updated in a nice way. An easy stop from the road, in a quiet area, and a very nice property with easy parking. Great for road trips.

Had my granddaughters 6th birthday party, the food was excellent. The wait staff went over and above. I'm from out of town and have been staying at this Marriott since my children were students at UD. Beautiful hotel, top accommodations.

Breakfast on Saturday was quite full in the dining room with many tables, not bust and few people eating, but no waitress to see us or hostess. Left and found breakfast elsewhere otherwise facility very nice.

Not close to shopping and dining. In house restaurant is expensive and has limited menu. Halo light on bathroom mirror looks cool but does not light up my head!

The room was what I would expect from a Marriott: clean, comfortable, perfectly maintained, high end bathroom, high end furnishings. The rest of the hotel was not typical Marriott quality. The carpet in the hallway was worn and wavy. The lobby furnishing were cheap and uncomfortable. Not what I would expect from a Marriott. Having said that, the staff was delightful in every way.

We stayed here for the Dayton Air Show, and it was a great stay. Close to the airport, clean rooms and very good restaurant on site. We will defiantly be back next year.
