Really disappointed that the property didn't even offer free coffee in the lobby. Not having a breakfast as part of the cost was bad enough, but scrimping on the coffee just felt miserly.

Hotels essential service is to.provide a quiet enviromnent so its guests get a restful night of sleep. The room adjacent to mine had guests who had their TV on and loud almost 24 hours. When i notified the front desk numerous times, throuout my stay, nothing was done about t besides acknowledging and apolgizing. I could not sleep until the guest next door checked out of the hotel. It was a very disppoointing exprience.

Room was fine. Location good. Very loud group on our floor making a lot of noise until after 4am and smoking dope to the point where we were overwhelmed by the smell. Called front desk about the noise, but they didn't answer. Went down to the desk after 3am and they talked to the lot party, but they never followed up and the noise continued. They said they couldn't give us any kind of reimbursement or credit because we used hotels.com

The AC wasn’t working properly. It was hot every night.
The water said it was free but we were charged for it.

We weren’t happy that Hotels.com took our reservation but never put it into the hotels system and they had no knowledge of us coming until they called Hotels to confirm that we actually had a reservation.
Several lights were unplugged from the walls in the room and the Fridge was not plugged in either. Had we had important food in there and not been so proactive about making sure it was working, it could have been very different.

Our stay at the Doubletree was great, as always. We always stay here, because the hotel and staff are wonderful, and the cookies are to die for. We won't stay anywhere else when we visit the Skokie area.

This was a very nice hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was large with ample room to move around.
Bathroom could have been a bit larger. Not enough room to move around. Bathroom door did not close tight. Had to put the garbage can against door to keep it closed.
There was no soft dtink machine on our floor. There was a small concession area near the front desk if you wanted a soft drink, candy or other snacks. Prices were very high.
Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

We stayed one night, 16 hours really. $260 is expensive considering pool was cold, no hot tub. Restroom had no toilet paper in all 3 stalls. Housekeeping came into our room at 8:30am while we were still sleep. Reception at Monaco had good food, diligent service. AC did not seem up to the task and sound system was terrible. Room accommodations were clean and comfortable.

Stayed two nights at this place and I have to say the check-in was easy and the room was clean. The king size bed was really comfortable, and the location was really close to a mall and restaurants. The only inconvenience was that the refrigerator did not cool my drinks too well and the tv glitched a little.

Short stay, check in service was very good. The room was clean and spacious. The soap/shampoo/lotion was eco friendly pump bottles. The bed was very comfortable. The coffee pot in the room was ok -but not great.
(the shower head looked to be adjustable but wasn't, husband had to wait for hot water for a bit).
