We had a large room very clean and quiet with a large sitting area to enjoy

Hotel is clean and modern, love the room layout and restaurant layout but the food (breakfast) was mediocre and the bed was quite uncomfortable.

The staff and hotel were fabulous, but our room was on the first floor. It was a very loud area in the morning which was difficult because we checked in late in the evening.

i was disappointed with the blankets as when i held one up it looked moldy or very dirty.
one of the beds had hair tinsel in between the flat sheet and blanket.
the bathroom sink in the bathroom took a long time to drain.
the pool water was very merky and the pool towels too small.
my kids enjoyed the pool very much.

Delta Hotels Marriott in Dartmouth was a great place to stop over on our road trip around NS. It's outside of downtown Halifax but less expensive and easier to park at. Getting into and out of downtown was no problem.
The lobby, restaurant w/ Starbucks, and room were all very modern and new. The beds, furniture, and bathroom were also very modern and tasteful. Everything was super clean. There was lots of space for everything and lots of outlets for electronics. The breakfast buffet was great with very nice servers. There was no bacon or sausage, but they had smoked salmon along with some deli meats.
The only real issues were that the wireless was a little temperamental and that the walls/floors seemed a little thin. It was also a little annoying that the room came with only one (caffeinated) coffee pod.
Overall a great stay.

My only complaint about this hotel is the frosted glass bathroom door in the room. The light shines out in if someone has to use the bathroom in the night and it’s limited privacy because although it’s frosted you can still see through a bit.
Restaurant staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful as well as all other staff we interacted with. The selection on the buffet was a nice change and included options like smoked salmon and capers with bagels and cream cheese, fresh fruit cups, smoothies, baked goods and much more. The coffee was a really good as well. The kids enjoyed the pool and water slide and there is an indoor splash pad area for smaller kids. While the business park the hotel is located in isn’t exactly picturesque, the location is very conveniently close to all the shops in Dartmouth Crossing and the area is quiet.

Great place set away from everything in an industrial and business estate. Not convenient to downtown. You need your car or a ride service to get anywhere. But nice facility.

We stayed at this Delta a number of times and it is a lovely propert. First and foremost the staff are incredible at this hotel. So friendly and helpful. The pool and splash pad is also great, especially when you have young children like we do. The one negative thing I will say is the 4th floor smelled terrible. They had a number of dehumidifiers in the hallway which leads me to believe there was possibly a flood and the lingering damp smell is trying to be cleaned up with those dehumidifiers however the smell in the hallways is gross. The second negative is the noise from the elevator and the dehumidifiers from our room was quite noisy which led to not much sleep for my kids and myself. My hope is our next stay will be like the others where it isn’t damp smelling and less noise to enjoy our sleep in their comfy beds.

Enjoyed our stay, only complaint I had was I was travelling with 3 kids, we waited to show up at the 3:00 check in time, upon check in at 3:15 they stated it would be another 20min or so for our room as it wasn’t ready yet. That was frustrating. However the gentleman at the desk was extremely helpful and ended up finding us an available room that was ready.
