The property seems a bit dated but it’s in a convenient location for trips into Berkeley. We love that many restaurants are nearby, some even walking distance. The rooms are comfortable but can be a little noisy when you have neighbors.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel room was very nice. The only negative I can say is there is only one 2-port outlet by the sink and they had a scented plug-in in one of the ports so not ideal for someone needing to plug multiple items. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice glass walk-in with dual shower heads. We had a Bay View room on the 6th Floor. The view of the Bay and Bay Bridge was good. The hotel is right off the highway and minutes from the Bay Bridge. There is a shopping area across from hotel/walking distance. Very good experience. We would definitely stay here again.

Facility shows heavy use. Pool and spa were in rough shape.
A room with a balcony was booked through Expedia, but I actually received a room without a balcony. When I brought this issue to their attention, They told me Expedia did not mention the balcony when they booked it. I would have to take it up with Expedia. Extremely expensive ($322/night) but I guess that's California. This was a $150 room elsewhere in the US.

I stayed on the top floor and there was some mechanical device on the roof above my room that made a very loud banging noise continuously. I kindly advised the front desk and they denied having any knowledge of it. There is no way that I could be the first to bring this to their attention. I stayed for 3 nights and got absolutely no sleep. Traveling for business is stressful enough without this aggravation! If they think fixing the issue is too expensive they need to consider the number of customers that will never return to any of their properties.
This location is budget quality at premium prices. Shame on them!

The property located right off the freeway in Emeryville was convenient in and out access to SF and Berkeley. The building is well maintained except the back parking is not well kept and near an underpass that looks like it would attract some seedy activities. There was plenty of shopping and dining options which was a plus and the room was comfortable and had all the necessities. Property itself is well maintained and lobby is inviting. I would recommend and would stay here again.

I was traveling on Amtrak with my mom and brother and needed to get a room close to the Amtrak station for an overnight stay between trains. I was hoping the hotel would have a shuttle to pick my mom and me up with my disabled brother but they did not. The good thing is, this property is right across from Amtrak so we left our big bags at Amtrak, took our night bags and grabbed dinner at Public Market across the street before heading to the hotel. I originally requested an ADA room with 2 queen beds but got a king bed instead. I asked Shaun at the front desk if we could be accommodated but seemed a bit confused so I suggested a roll away bed instead and that was a suitable solution. The property is a bit outdated and I wouldn't recommend walking in the area alone or after dark.

It was a wonderful stay with everything nearby, the view of the bay bridge at night was amazing. The hotel was clean and the rooms were nice. The lady who checked us in, MsEnglish, could have been a bit more welcoming with a smile, but overall, it was a good experience for a one-night stay.

Four Points was a perfect location for our family's needs. However our room on the 6th floor was very loud with road noise and it was very hard to get a good sleep.
Also, the internet connection is NOT SECURE so my devices were not able to use the "Free Wifi". This was quite disappointing because I had a lot of work to attend to,

Great location as walking distance to many local shop/restaurants. Housekeeping is amazing, very pleasant and welcoming. While some of the front desk individuals lack friendliness. Pool was closed the entire time which would have been nice to know prior as we would have likely cancelled. Rooms are extremely small, recommend a corner unit.

Overall this is a Nice hotel. I liked the gym, free parking & complimentary coffee.
The room had a mild (musty) odor. The older lady (working 4th of July AM shift) wasn’t too friendly. The rest of the staff was great.

The area is great and having free parking is a big perk. Stayed in a bay view room this time around and it was extremely noisy from the highway and the AC unit was very loud. I would recommend staying in a room facing the train tracks as it is quieter. The hotel staff is great but the room was not ready when we arrived and had to wait over an hour to check in, after having called them prior to arriving. The staff was friendly and apologetic, these things happen and they dealt with it to the best of their ability. Overall it’s a great hotel and in a great area.

Staff needs a lot of customer service training. Housekeeping didn’t get done when I made a special request in lieu of housekeeping for additional towels, etc. that didn’t get carried through hotel is pretty rundown in need of a facelift.
