I was not happy that the onsite restaurant was closed

Quick stopover before taking California Zephyr train. V comfortable. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Clean. V close to station. Friendly staff. Good value.

Unit had enough space for a family of four. Parking was free and conveniently located around the building. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Highly recommending fir a family trip.

This hotel is just OK. The interior condition is a bit shabby and it obviously is in need of a refurbishment. But the strangest thing is there’s no evening food or beverage service except Tuesday and Wednesday nights! This is just unbelievable. Absolutely no restaurant or bar except two nights a week. That would make me never stay here again because it’s inconvenient and there’s no place to hang out with your friends without leaving the property.

I have no idea why this place was so perfect for me. I have stayed in hotels all over the world, and this was just perfect (and 20 minutes from my house....I had to stay out for a night). Wish the pool was a bit warmer though.

Although competitively priced compared to other hotels in the area, I didn't feel like there was much value for money at this location. The staff were borderline on strike, and some were sharp with customers. They have lots of strange rules, and still seem to be very much anchored in the COVID-19 lockdown culture. Also, they play a trick with extra parking charges, so be ready to shell out an extra $25 a night for leaving your car in their open parking lot. The best thing about the hotel is the good quality of the breakfasts, which are superior to other chains and are included in the price of the stay. This hotel is very close to the Amtrak station.

Included breakfast was good. Standard scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, French toast etc. Wish they had ramekins for the syrup, as it is messy to apply butter to one’s French toast after the syrup. The coffee station placed away from other stations was also not the most convenient.
The room itself was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very convenient for those traveling via AMTRAK.

It was okay, but for a Hyatt, the facility is very plain, uninviting. Staff don’t seem to care about their jobs. Has a very dismissive attitude when approached. For example, we requested a late checkout. When the room key did not work at 11, I went to the front desk and the attend was nearly combative about not knowing. Strange! And this is not just one issue. There were others. Never has that experience in a hotel before.

This is an excellent hotel, completely consistent with my positive experiences when staying at a Hyatt. It is conveniently located adjacent to the Emeryville Amtrak station.

Everything was good except the remote control. It wasn’t working for us… we had to wait until the ice maker in the fridge. It took a few hours. The hospitality and the cleaning folks were amazing

The rooms are okay, kind of remodeled. but when other customers cook in thier rooms at 10pm, The smell of onion and fried food getts in the hallway and skips into your room. We had 2 night problem with odor in our room that was unbearable. We had to put towel under the door to block the food smell entering the room. Even though the manager gave us 2 night refund but still that does not resolve the quality of this hotel.

This is a very nice hotel. I booked the suite with a kitchen and it was good for a family of 3. The only issue is the train that comes at all hours of the night and honks the horn. The train is right behind the hotel so there is no way to avoid the honking horn. It comes multiple times at night and the train conductor must love to honk that horn to wake everyone up in the hotel. I could not get a good night sleep. Bring your ear plugs or book a room somewhere else.

I am always happy with Hyatt Place. This stay was nice, my only unpleasant moments were noises from car alarms and outside vehicles early in the morning. Next time I will as to be in a room near the front of the building vs back. This will not deter me from coming back if I am in the area and in need of a room

The Hotel was decent but the customer service was not the greatest. The AC in the rooms are old fashioned where either it gets too cold or just hot. The breakfast hrs should be till 11am atleast.

Good experience. Room was clean and nice. We got the king suite with the kitchen. Only complaint is that the sofa was older and you just sink down in it.

The hallway carpet was very wrinkled like there had been a flood. The room was very small for a King size bed, there was no sitting area.
