We stay here every year and this is the first time we had an issue. The heat in our room was not working. They sent someone up who replaced the motor. We had to wait after traveling for 6 hours in a car for him to replace it. When we returned, it worked for awhile but then quit. They did move us to an upgraded room. But we had unpacked and had to repack. Very inconvenient. The staff was awesome, as usual, and they did their best to accommodate us. But no other compensation was offered. Hoping next year is better.

We had a great stay at the Omni. Service was on point, our room was absolutely stunning, and the beds were so comfortable. Our kids got to enjoy the pool and we took advantage of being right on the river and near all of the tourist attractions. We also were thrilled to be in a hotel where noise wasn’t an issue. The rooms are well insulated, which made for a great nights sleep. We will definitely return the next time we’re in San Antonio.

We booked a Delux 2 Queen room with riverwalk view. We were put in a room with two double beds and no view. I asked the front desk for assistance. I waited a long time and the call was dropped. I called back and found someone to help us out. We were moved to an accessible room with 2 queens on a lower level. I was advised they had a glitch in their system and inventory was off. There was follow up on the next day, but I don’t feel like much effort was made to fix the issue. Instead of trying to improve the situation, it felt like we were downgraded. This property is rated 9.2 out of 10, so I went in with high expectations. Our beds were made with the mattress not fully covered. I’m not sure what that was about but the second day it was resolved. Overall- The beds were comfortable but the room was too small for four people and the service was in no way deserving of a Wonderful rating. There are so many hotels in the area, not sure I would recommend this property if you’re looking for a top property.

As far as the room itself... Bed was hard. Room was beautiful but small. Like I said balcony is shared and brings security concerns. If you go make sure you call and ask a for a lower room. If you are 5th or 6th floor you can't really see the river. However it did help keep the noise down.
The hotel itself is beautiful and very peaceful. Amazing location direct access to the Riverwalk. Just don't expect the rooms to live up to everything else.

Location is perfect! Beautiful hotel and grounds and as a solo female traveler this trip I felt very safe. The staff was friendly and helpful and I’ll say one more time, the location was great… right on the river walk, walking distance to many tourist sites including the Alamo and and trolley stops.

Was there for a conference but it was also my birthday. Omni upgraded my room to a private balcony on the Riverwalk and provided cupcakes for me. It was a truly wonderful experience.

The staff here were all so very helpful. They checked us in well before checkin time and suggested an excellent room. The balcony view of the Riverwalk was stunning. They stored our luggage on our departure day so we could still amble about the town without having to worry about hefting our luggage with us. This place just gave us all the feels. Loved our time here.

Spoke to the front desk and her boss, the front desk manager (for today Sat 9/14).
My husband and I always stay at your hotel and have never had any issues. Our daughter lives in San Antonio and we visit on a regular basis. We've booked approximately 20 nights over the last 2 years...never again!
We booked with Hotels.com and had planned to stay 1 night (9/14). We are driving in from Houston and had an issue and needed to change our reservation to stay the following night (9/15) instead.
When asked if the manager would please reconsider for a long time/established customer, we were told no.
Customer service is not a priority to management at your hotel and that is unfortunate.
If you have a situation occur, they don't mind taking your money instead of moving your reservation to the following night.

I've stayed in Omni hotels prior, but this was the first time we have stayed at this location. Our stay was great and I'm definitely coming back. What impressed me the most was how attentive and helpful your staff is. Mr. Said at your front desk is great. During my check in he must have noticed the DOB on my ID and asked if we were there for a special occasion. I mentioned that it was my birthday and that the trip was a last minute gift. He wished my a happy birthday and mentioned that the hotel would like to offer me a gift. Later that evening I return to our room to find a complimentary bottle of wine, some chocolate covered strawberries, and a birthday card. I would like to thank Said for that special touch. I congratulate The Omni for having such a wonderful staff. Needless to say that we will definitely be back to the Omni La Mansion del Rio on our next trip to San Antonio.
