Room 1210 is a conjoining corner room. The person next to me was in and out of their room all night with the door slamming shut and waking me up several times. When I went to shower in the morning the bathtub was full of black stuff and hair all around the perimeter. I tried to wash it down but the tub was clogged. I couldn’t wait for maintenance so I could shower so I wiped it out with a towel and took a quick shower. I told a girl at the front desk about everything before I left and she said “ok thanks for letting me know”. I’ve stayed here many times but have never had an experience like this.

The location is very convenient with a decent selection of restaurants, bars, and breweries within walking distance.
The hotel is a little dated but the room clean and furniture was updated and comfortable.

The downtown location is convenient but tricky for parking. A parking structure is available. An outdoor lot is situated on a one way street adjacent to another lot, which looks like one large lot without close inspection; be careful because if you drive into the wrong one, the street is one direction in the wrong direction. The hotel employees were discussing pay--underpay. I didn't realize I needed to swipe my room key to operate the elevator and rode the elevator a half floor three times before an employee in a suit clarified the situation for me. Thecbrick facade in the room is a facade covering popcorn walls. The room was narrow but clean and comfortable. It had a mini fridge and a coffee pot with tea and coffee pods. I did not try the hotel upstairs, but my husband says room service delivers good food. The view outside my window was both city and the rimrock mountainous terrain, beautiful!

The best part of this Doubletree was the staff. All our staff interaction from the front desk to the restaurant was wonderful and friendly. Conveniently located in downtown Billings it is walkable to explore downtown.
There was recent parking lot construction that we didn't know about and couldn't park in the lot. Normally would not be an issue and we would park in the parking garage but we had kayaks on top of our vehicle. So that was a challenge to find parking nearby but the security staff walks the perimeter of the property to watch over guest vehicles which is great.
The lobby is clean and modern, however the elevators had a faint smell of smoker residue, which we found in the room as well. The rooms look like they need a good renovation as well. The carpet and the bathroom especially. But it wasn't horrible. The beds were clean and comfy with various firmness of pillows provided. The top floor restaurant has spectacular views of the city. And the food both for dinner and breakfast was amazing!

Parking was difficult; driving into entrance impossible due to 1 way. First checking in took along time. At one time, 3 people working at desk would not acknowledge my presence for over 2 minutes. No one else was in line!

Nothing special here. Just a basic room with a pile of dirt and hair behind the bathroom door. Light switches and lighting not set up in convenient ways. Main parking lot extremely small and overflow parking garage wasn’t identified very well on its location. Thankfully there was an enclosed walkway that connected the parking garage to the hotel. The hotel and room was overpriced for what you get. The kids did enjoy getting a cookie upon arrival, but were then disappointed to find nuts in them. I don’t foresee myself staying here again.

The location was a pain. If you are not familiar with the area than figuring out how to get into the parking lot is difficult. We stayed in a king deluxe on the 17th floor. The room itself was okay. The door knob going into the bathroom was falling off and the room itself was hot. The lowest the ac would go to was 68 and with the room being a little larger, it did not cool it down. We called the front desk but they said tuff luck. We both had a difficult time sleeping. We asked for a late check out but still had housekeeping walk in on us. My husband was butt naked. No knocking or warning. The room itself appeared to be clean for the most part. We had paid a lot for this room and was pretty disappointed. Wish we would have settled for a basic room. We probably wouldn't come back next time.

I love staying at the DoubleTree! It is always clean, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, great walkability to restaurants and bars, easy to find when you come off the freeway, and of course, the warm cookies when you check in.

I checked in on time on 8/9/24 and was given a room. For some reason the computer showed I was a mo show and on Saturday morning at approximately 9am they rented my room to someone else who was trying to enter the room while I was in it luckily. That person was angry and went down to the desk to complain. When I went down right after that is when I was told the computer showed I was marked as a no show. When I went to check out on 8/11/24 I asked for a copy of my bill and was told there was still a no show charge that was showing which she did delete. I have stayed there several times prior without issue but was extremely unhappy with this last experience.

Very nice property and staff was great. I was concerned about early check in, as my granddaughter and I had to wait over 3 hours to our room do to our flights. For as nice as this hotel was, early check in would have made this an excellent hotel.

Overall was a great stay in a nice room. Only negative was the safe want working. Restaurants near were great and the breakfast buffet at the hotel was awesome.

We were in room 506. The air conditioner sounded like a high pitch train everytime it came on all night . The room was hot and the temp only would go to 68 . Also a blue led light flashed intermittently all night .

My bathroom was so dirty- hair around the toilet and the bowl was not clean. Very disappointing.

One Of The Best If Not The Best Hotels I Have Ever Stayed At In Montana, Located In A Clean & Safe Area With Lots Of Shopping and Dining Nearby,The Parking Is A Little Confusing But Easy To Figure It Out After The First Time, Check-In Process Was Super Quick and Easy, Room Was Very Nice and Clean, The Little Snack Shop Could Use A Few More Snack Choices, Definitely Will Be Staying Here Again

Nice hotel if you can get a good room especially on a high floor. Nice views. The staff kept putting me in rooms with connecting doors to another room and rooms with no heat. Then they claimed the hotel had no more rooms available to change to, but I do not think the hotel was full.
They seem to have a problem with the heating system. Many of the rooms I was shown had no warm air from the vent at all and some were cold. I had to spend 2 nights in rooms without heat. I strongly suggest checking for hot air from the vent before renting a room here.
My room key would also stop working and I had to go to the front desk to get it renewed. This happened several times. A maintenance worker also broke into the room with a crowbar breaking the security latch. He did not knock or ask if anyone was in the room.
This would be such a nice hotel if the hotel staff were better. Maybe the best hotel in Billings. I hope they can replace some people so that it is the great hotel that it should be.

Nice centrally located hotel in downtown Billings. Close to lots of bars, restaurants, and boutique shopping. Easy drive to the Metra and MSU-Billings. The hotel itself is ok; you are definitely paying for location and amenities.
