We had a very nice stay. Staff was very friendly.

The towels are like sandpaper. The bathroom door didn’t but open but a foot because the toilet is in the way. It smells musty, moldy. The floors upstairs creek and the beds so that’s all you hear all night . Walls must be paper thin. I could hear the person snoring upstairs or next to us. I wouldn’t stay here again especially at the jacked up rate for dad’s weekend.

I checked in really late at night -- 3 AM. And the woman at the front desk was helpful, polite, and even though she seemed slightly surprised to see me, got me checked in pretty quickly. The room could use a little bit of a face-lift. You can see some wear and tear on it, but nothing that was off-putting. I was somewhat curious about the large wooden "shelf" or "platform" in the room that didn't seem to serve any particular function other than taking up space. But again, overall this was an excellent experience and for the price, I absolutely can't complain. The staff was very courteous and friendly and I would definitely stay here again the next time I come through the Champaign area.

Very convenient to I74. Check-in was a breeze with Alexa at the desk. There is one family style restaurant across the street, but many other choices in Urbana city center approx. 2 miles away. This is an older BW but is still clean and comfortable. Above-average hot breakfast. Would stay again.

Biggest drawback was lower quality shampoo, room was great, nice that you only have to book one night on UIUC game days.

I am a 53 year old grown woman staying one night and the check-in staff felt the need to focus on and repeatedly tell me the rules and extra charges for having extra guests. Even charged me a $50 damage deposit. I confirmed it’s just me tonight. She still gave me 2 keys and repeated all the rules as if I was lying? Not the place to stay if you don’t want to be treated like an irresponsible child. Made me concerned about loudness and parties but it was quiet.

Rooms and overall cleanliness is OK. Disappointed about the replenishment of the breakfast items. Breakfast is from 6-9. Came at 8 AM and nothing was available. Had to survive on once slice of bread and little cereal. Expensive for the location and no value for the money.

The property was understaffed especially around breakfast time. Given that it was the week when freshmen joined UIUC, the hotel was occupied more than average. However, due to a shortage of staff, the utensils and, food was in short supply. Some breakfast items were packaged as opposed to being fresh. The issue was not with the staff that was present but rather with the management for not managing the rush properly

The property was an older hotel that was very nicely updated and repainted. Breakfast was ok. Eggs and sausage didn't taste right. The automatic pancake machine is something to see. I stayed only one night. Everything was clean and beds were very comfortable. Nice sheets and pillows. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of towels. The airconditioning was great. Staff were nice and helpful. Good neighborhood. I would return if i needed a place to stay.

Very friendly staff, quiet location, decent breakfast, pet friendly and they even have a small laundry room. Room was clean and they gave us a room by an outside door so it was easy to walk our dogs. Our only complaint was that outside door’s key ready and light were covered in spiders and their webs. Otherwise loved this place!

Hotel was clean. The gentleman at the front desk was nice but hard to understand when checking in. The pool is locked up and you have to “schedule” time to swim.

I didn’t like the brown walls in the bathroom. I wish they did have a hot tub I was looking forward after a long day at work I could get in the hot tub and couldn’t. The pool is not heated it’s hot in the pool area but the pool itself was chilly.

Liked hard floor, not carpet. TV very small, back door was not secure, lock broken, two mattresses laying outside garbage area. Lamp just had bulbs, no shade.

I read the reviews prior to booking as we travel a lot for sports and we were truly impressed by this facility. It looks like they have done renovations. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and the service was the same. We will definitely stay here again on future visits.

Toilet was rocking back and forth and bugs in the tub. Not sure what this coffin looking thing was in the room so I couldn’t sleep at all. Too late to check in anywhere else! Never again!
