The beds or very itchy I believe they had bed bugs I was gonna stay a extra day but I checked out today people were smoking alarms was pulled I have a new born child coming out the hotel at 12am is crazy

The room was comfortable - we were able to control temperature well. The weekend desk staff was friendly and helpful. We had easy access to the car. The indirect lighting in the bathroom was nice. Hot water was readily available in the bathroom. Water saving toilet was good. Lighting in the room was varied for different purposes which was nice. Nice large area of seating for breakfast. Since it was in a renovation period, we felt we got a good value for the money.

Mostly minor things we didn't like. There was no ice bucket provided. There was only one working elevator in our section due to the renovations, but it didn't slow us down much. The info that is provided with the QR-code scan in the room is outdated (the last company's info).

All staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a "soft opening" phase and everyone was doing a great job to make the hotel excellent.

We’ve came here many times for our anniversary. Always friendly staff and clean. Breakfast is normal…only 2 issues were fire alarm going off twice and the tub wouldn’t stop up so we had to purchase a rubber stopper to take a bath! Other than that it’s great.

Fire alarm going off twice, weed smell in the hallway on main floor, tub stopper didn’t work so had to purchase one so I could have a bath & really wish there was a microwave in each room.

Nice spacious rooms, nice meeting place in the lobby, kids loved the pool, easy access to I74 and the city.

The elevator was a little scary, creaking and waiting for the door to open. But it actually worked well.

Although in the middle of transformation, Wyndham was clean and staff was very friendly.

The only thing we noticed was the bathroom in our room and public restroom on main floor were obviously still temporarily under construction. However, even with this challenging task the building was a nice place to stay, and especially clean and comfortable.

Clean,good sized room. Loved the mini fridge with the glass door. Loved the amenities .Good variety and tasty breakfast. If in the area ever again would go back!

The air went out in all 3 rooms

Location was great. Breakfast was good in the morning. Loved the complimentary toiletries and the towels were super soft. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were pretty soundproof for the walls (all rooms booked and only heard noise from the hallway). Plenty of parking.

Currently renovating so there was a few things going on with the room. The deadbolt didn't work but the blocker bar kept the door from opening. Bathroom paneling was peeling but did not hamper the use of the room. Pool was clean but was not heated so morning swim was too cold for most people to use. One of the elevators was out of service so a fully booked house meant slow service.

It was fine.

I was traveling from OH to IL, room was clean and quiet! Building looked old from outside but nice inside!

Unfortunately the elevator was broken during my stay. However, the staff was absolutely lovely and my room was large, clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back when I’m in town next.

It's currently under construction. The pool area was in disarray with pool towels at the bottom of the pool, all around the pool and none left on the shelf. They advertised a hot tub but it's filled in with cement, there was no operational bar and restaurant. The building was not secure. The updates to the room were done horribly and not even completed, unfinished drywall, missing grout, no closet door, unpainted walls and exposed plumbing. Thermostat was inop. TV had lines through it. Over all not comfortable to relax in.

Bed was comfy, breakfast was good, room was immaculate.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Towels were mostly new, but there were some that were old (worn out/thin) that should have been retired. toiletries were nice. Front desk staff was nice and did his best to find me a room on the 2nd floor. While the hotel is going through renovations, lobby looks new and bright.

This was graduation weekend at UIUC and the hotel was full, and so were the rest of the hotels in the area. I was traveling with my elderly dad (95yrs old) and of all weekends, they scheduled elevator service during this time, so we had no elevator during our entire stay. Originally, my assigned room was on the 4th floor. There were no available rooms on the first floor. Luckily they were able to find a room on the 2nd floor but at the opposite end (very long hallway) from the stairs. As I tried to limit the number of times my dad had to go up and down the stairs, I had to bring breakfast to the room so he could eat. Walls are thin. We had a connecting door and could clearly hear the conversation coming from the room next door and from people walking on the hallway. It looks like they haven't finished upgrading the shower in the bathroom. It was missing a soap holder and it needed caulking.
