The check in was wonderful. Let us check in early after our cruise ship came in early.
Room was nice and large. Clean throughout, bed was comfortable.
Problem was specific to medication i carry with me. Normally, i ask hotels if they can keep my freezer packs frozen since I have to keep Insulin cold. TSA will not let me fly without frozen gel ice packs- must be solid.
Called the front desk- explained my need and was denied. Said there was no where to freeze them. Asked if they had an employee freezer and again was told they couldn’t help me. Not sure how true this was but they were less than accommodating and was short and rude about it. Basically, improvised and filled my ice bucket and placed insulin in the ice to keep cold. Then flying the next day with ice in a baggie through TSA was fun.

This hotel has a few issues, number one being only one chair in the room for two people. The nice guy at the desk did get us another chair when we asked. There should be at least two places to sit in a hotel room! The shower door was broken and would not stay closed. The breakfast area was very crowded with ppl not able to find a seat.

Occupants in room above us were jumping around until after midnight. Called front desk twice and operator twice. No answer at any of them. Noise started again at 6 am. Shared this with front desk staff at check out and only got, “Really? I’ll investigate this.”. We thought occupants above us were coming thru the ceiling. Breakfast was mediocre.

The apartments next door had music going late. The bathroom fans are way too loud. Any room next to, above or below using the bathroom creates way too much noise. Not a quiet room by any stretch. Not to mention the strobe light of some sort on the ceiling and the constantly on and off running refrigerator noise.

We were assigned a handicapped room which we neither needed, requested or desired. The “closet” door was impossible to open, the fan in the bathroom was outrageously loud, and the space was designed for one, not two people. These are correctable complaints. Although offered transportation to restaurants in the area, apparently there are none walkable and “pantry” items available are limited. We will not be returning.

I want to give it 5 stars as I really liked so much about the hotel. Service was great. Location to tram system to get you around Seattle was beyond ideal. Very close to airport and shuttle was easy to obtain. Room was huge and bed was comfortable. But I HATED, HATED, HATED the bathroom. The sink is outside next to the hotel room door. It has motion sensor lighting with a REALLY loud and annoying noise (I’m assuming the fan/exhaust system?) accompanying it. So if you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, good luck doing it quietly. The shower is way too narrow. If this doesn’t bother you, then I absolutely recommend everything else about the hotel and room.
