The staff was very nice and I didn't have any issues. I prepaid and received a free room upgrade which was perfect. The suite was spacious and clean. The nightly rates were very reasonable compared to nearby hotels with less amenities. Free breakfast was also included. I had no issues during my stay.

We loved the size of the rooms and the fact that it included a kitchen. The rooms need a bit of upkeep. A lot of electrical outlets and lights didn't work but nothing major. The breakfast offered in the morning was a good variety. Staff was all very kind.

The hotel was good but appeared to be a questionable area. But within a few blocks you are by the bigger hotels and casinos. While no one approached us, I am not sure I would want to walk around there to late in the night.

The hotel is dirty, and the cleaning is absolutely not made correctly. When I check in, there was food on my floor in my room and despite 2 request of cleaning the food was still there after 6 days when I checked out. There was hair, in my shower, etc etc.
The commun place is not clean as well. In the morning the people who're working there are never smiling.. This hotel should be refresh and operated in a more professional way

I was pleasantly surprised! We booked for a little stay-cation as we are from the area and I’m happy to add this to a list of favorites! Centrally located near lots of fun attractions such as the riverwalk, Bourbon street, shopping, and great eateries! The hotel was nice, the staff were courteous, and the room was very clean.

We were 3 couples staying two nights before a cruise. The location was great, close to the pier. It was about a 20 min walk to the French quarter. The building is old and is due renovations. The rooms were adequate and breakfast was good. So overall, it was a good value for the price.

The hotel was unclean and unkempt. The staff was rude unhelpful, and unprofessional. I had a dead roach in my room and was told I had to put in a 24 hour request for housekeeping to remove it.
This was the worst experience I have ever had. I would never book this hotel ever again!!

The people at the front desk were friendly. Nice location, spacious rooms. It’s just a bit basic. The showers could use updating (shower heads) the beds aren’t the most comfortable, but they’re not terrible.

Excellent suite. Fully equipped kitchen with full sized refrigerator and everything you needed to cook. It was actually like a one bedroom apartment. The hallway was outdoor with bridges and tropical plants...reminded me of the Harry Potter dorm hallway except the stairways and bridges didn't move (lol). The grounds were immaculately clean. I will definitely stay there again.

This hotel was quite nice! Comfortably accommodated our group of 5. Just a short walk to Canal St and the Riverwalk. Felt very safe as well. The staff at the front desk were very nice throughout the entire stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the property and the staff was great. However, there were ants in the kitchen and the toilet and bath drain were really slow to drain and we didn’t receive any housekeeping during our visit. Not sure if we were supposed to request it or not. To be fair, we didn’t complain but it should probably be fixed.

The room is low budget the room had hair in the tub in the bathroom on the towels and pillows I was very upset about it. I called front desk several times To get more towels they kept putting me on hold. I didn’t even want to eat the breakfast I was over this place. Very over priced for the room and the entire place smells funny valley is super high

The staff were extremely friendly all the way from the valet attendant to the front desk staff! We had an amazing stay. The room was very clean and spacious. I have honestly not had service this great in quite a few years! I would highly recommend this hotel. The walk ability was also a huge plus.

We came to stay for the Taylor Swift concert. Upon arriving the hotel had Taylor Swift King cake, Taylor Swift music playing, and friendship bracelets. Taylor the general manager then came out and told everyone about all the activities for the weekend including friendship bracelet making and glitter station for the kids. Truly, the stay was incredible and we would definitely stay at the hotel again. It absolutely needs a facelift, but I would stay again based on how fantastic Taylor and the staff was.

We had to move rooms because the first on smelled heavily of pot.
The bathroom in the second one wasn’t very clean, hair and dirt on the floors behind the door and fingerprints and smudges on the glass shelving.
Room configuration was weird, it had 3 big steps to the living room area which was hard for my sister with her bad knee

Overall, it was extremely comfortable, but for me it was somewhat unconvinced that the room was only cleaned on the seventh day. I think it would be good if you could clean the room once on the fourth day.

Reservations were made for two nights without my knowledge. When I called to cancel, I was advised that I’ll be charged only for one night, but instead I was charged for two nights. I never step foot inside the hotel & still was charged. When I called to dispute, I basically I was given the runaround.

Wonderful stay at a uniquely converted space. Had a cozy apartment feel. Staff exceptionally friendly. Location was very convenient to freeway, shopping, and dining. Breakfast simple and tasty.

The first room had an ice maker that ran constantly making loud grinding sounds even after the maintenance tech tried to shut it down. They moved us to a 2nd room. The second we opened the door we were overwhelmed with the smell of weed. It’s was awful! So, we were moved a THIRD time to an “upgrade” room in the older part of the hotel. Started off average then a horrible squeaking sound came from the kitchenette. We’re so tired we ignored it and hoped it wadn’t a trapped rat. The next evening men/guests gathered in the atrium and were so loud we could hear their conversations and someone was smoking weed outside our room. Nevermind the fact that recreational use of pot is illegal in Louisiana. The smoke permeated our room. The next morning, we woke up to a wet floor in the bedroom snd a soaked floor in the BR closet as well as water on the kitchen floor from the refrigerator! Nightmare. The front desk staff were nice but this was a no win stay.

This was a great stay!! I stayed at the other Sonesta suites on Loyola and didn’t have a great experience, but this one was amazing!!! The staff was wonderful and the valet guys were so helpful! My room was super clean and I loved the breakfast!
I’ll will book her again!
