Easy check in and lovely clean room. Had breakfast in my room and this was served in good time and presentation good.

Pro: the staff were friendly. Con: mis sold, dangerous, grim I booked a wheelchair accessible room. I let them know I was a wheelchair user travelling alone in advance. Unfortunately it seemed to be designed for the comfort of the carer of the disabled person. This assumes all disabled people have carers (we don't, I travel alone) and that their needs are more important than the disabled person. The issues with the room were : The bathroom wasn't done to to the same standard as a normal doubletree bathroom. It felt more like an old hospital than a comfortable hotel. Many things out of reach: Reception - it said wheelchair access but what they meant is that from the main entrance to the room area you either have to go up stairs or walk 100m+ outside then go up a big step inside to ask for a ramp to be put down. The emergency alarm in the room (which door safety should go to the floor, not to standing height so it can be pulled if one falls to the floor) Getting through the front door to the part of the hotel with the room in The main sink in the bathroom The shower (head) The tray in the shower to put your bottles of shower gel etc The safe The kettle The iron The ironing board Curtains, so couldn't close them or the windows The dressing gown Bed was higher than maximum height recommended for wheelchair users Plus Awful WiFi Dirty towels Cigarette smell Very thin walls, noisy Why does Hilton think that disabled customers don't deserve the same quality of room?

No hot water, no AC, noisy at night with other guests banging around. Cleaning service was the only positive to have clean sheets.

Choose to stay at this hotel to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary before our big party event . We were not disappointed. The hotel staff were very welcoming , polite and professional .

Rooms were spacious and restaurant food was good. When the landscaping by the lake is finished the views will be outstanding.

First l give credit to Front desk staff who were amazing by rearranging my dates mixup although l ended up paying more than l had expected. The manageress was brilliant and her colleague.✨ Thewas good and my room was on the quiet side which really helped as l am a light sleeper. The hotel looked dated when going up to your rooms. Cleanliness needs improving in rooms. Everything else was great.

It was great. The additional facilities is the spa area where great especially as the weather wasn’t great

The room was freezing and no additional duvet was available. We were able to obtain a small electric heater to warm our room. We were so far from reception that we had no wifi. Could be better for the money.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was comfortable, no air con but it was July in the UK so raining:/ Had evening meal in the Bar (really nice) and breakfast had plenty of choice. Saw a couple of dog guests too, so might bring ours next time.

Swimming pool was out of use I understand that they are doing works to it no communication of this before arrival and hen on checking was told they are offering free cancellation if unhappy, would of been nice to know before hand via email, phone signal and WiFi was terrible for the first night couldn’t even connect. It just wasn’t the usual standard of a Hilton hotel, stayed in much better.

Everything would have been perfect but we have an ongoing problem with an over payment.

Hi we're on our anniversary weekend on arrival no swimming available Also unable to book into the much advertised restaurant on both nights

We booked an accessible room that was not accessible. We could not stay and left. In addition, the room was not ready when we arrived at 4 p.m. and to top everything off it was nit air conditioned, even though the temperature was 80 degrees.

Rooms need Air Conditioning for the hotter temperatures. Shame the swimming pool was out of action due to upgrades.

This hotel has no lifts and lots of stairs. It is no good for anyone who finds stairs difficult. The rooms have no air conditioning and few sockets. Would only rate it 2/5

Rooms were nice and bed was comfortable. Staff were amazing, Gary from Maintenance was a funny guy. All staff at this property are friendly and helpful. Definitely stay again and recommend highly

Good Old Manor Vibes. Serene n Quiet

Very loud early hours of the morning. Could hear alarms from other rooms going off from 5am all the way through the morning. Doors slamming and shaking the room. Housekeeping tried to access my room at 08:15am, making a huge racket, even though I was due to check out a couple hours later!

We have stayed at this hotel twice before over 20 yrs ago, thats why we chose it. The hotels decor has not changed and badly needs updating. The gym was closed as it was being painted. Evening menu the same every night. Location was good, pool was good.

Spa area needs a good renovation and also the smell of bleach is too strong . Being a hotel & spa ,it should be a robe available for any type of room .

We stopped here for a night - good experience overall.

Breakfast service was awful !! not much choice for vegetarian and vegan. Items were nor refilled until asked. Tables were not cleaned after use so you are waiting for a cleaned table for long time.

The whole place needs renovation, with the pool and spa area being particularly rundown.

The trip started well with a very friendly welcome and a lovely gift of hot cookies. Unfortunately we were then told the restaurant was fully booked that evening so we had to venture into town, not ideal after travelling over 5 hours. We were also advised that the Spa and Swimming Pool were not available due to an issue and would be back in use the next morning, which turned out to be late afternoon . I made a booking for our party of 4 for the restaurant on the Saturday evening at 7pm with reception, bearing in mind it was fully booked on the Friday. When we turned up on the Saturday, we were advised that our booking had not been forwarded and there was no space and that we would possibly be able to get a seat in a couple of Hours!! There was no offer of alternative eating arrangements in the Terrace Bar, and when i took this up with the Reception Staff, their attitude was one, of not our problem, maybe we should go to the Marston Pub next to the Hotel or into Cheltenham. Poor communication and awful attitude tainted what could have been an enjoyable stay, coupled with no Spa and Swimming facilities for most of the break. This was my First Hilton experience, needless to say i wont be rushing to go with them again.

Great location and setting. Reception staff very nice and helpful, a nice touch with a warm cookie. Comfortable bed. Good gym and spa facilities. Bar and breakfast staff were slow and unhelpful. Had to wait a very long time for our drinks after having to go back to the bar twice. It wasnt even busy. A very special thanks to Phil from the maintenance team, who had to step in and sort out the breakfast service. Overall a pleasant stay.

when arriving for dinner in the restaurant we were told they couldn't accommodate us as they were short staffed in the kitchen. there were only 3 tables occupied & set seating for a hundred or more. "go to the bar there are snacks available there" Consequently we had no evening meal at all. No Lift if you've heavy bags & parking is a long walk.

It is a lovely hotel, very peaceful and quiet area. It could use a bit of redecoration in certain sites but it is clean enough and still very comfortable with all the amenities. Breakfast is superb (I would say above average for the chain hotels) and this is one of the very few hotels where you can actually open the windows! (and there is a garden outside so it is actually pleasant to do). Swimming pool is again maybe a bit old but perfectly good and comfortable to use. It is a great place for a relaxing stay to detach from the daily stress; not so much if you really need a good wifi as this can be really sluggish, although maybe there is a way around it (I think they have some premium wifi service there but there will be likely an extra fee).

We really enjoyed our stay great staff and good service. Room was clean and a good standard. The bed was Amazing extremely comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Swimming pool excellent. The Hotel is nice but could do with some Modernisation
