Nice spacious room with good layout.
Only strange thing was- we came back after a day out to grab coats before dinner and the place was surrounded by 4 cop cars. Wasn’t 100% sure if it was safe to go in & yo to room. When I entered- two staff were at check in desk- so I asked what was going on and was given a funny look as if to say- none of your business. I asked again, and what I believe to be the manager (female)- answered rather curtly: They’re handling something for me”.
Just seemed a bit strange to allow me as a paying customer- to feel unsafe by withholding an explanation.

First of all Susan at check in was very rude. She was demanding an incidentals hold of $50 on a card. I told her that there’s nothing about that on the website I booked it on as well as Im a gold member with Hotels.com and should not have to pay an incidentals hold. She threatened to cancel the reservation if I did not give her a card.
She promised that it was just a temporary hold and would not affect my balance however immediately $50 came out of my checking account. They took two days to give me the $50 back and then this morning 10/25 $50 came out again and overdrafted me again. I’ve called the front desk and the managers not there and they don’t know when she will be in.
On top of that there is a $59 fee for late checkout which I have never heard of at any hotel. And lastly there were people running after midnight at the property and slamming doors and then most of the hot breakfast was cold and crunchy.

Room was very comfortable and quiet. A first floor room with my elderly pet was great because we did not have to climb stairs (he refuses to get on an elevator). This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I will definitely return.

Nice, clean, quiet place to stay. Just driving through to get home and stopped here for a night. We’re going to stay 2 nights but decided to stay the extra night in Albuquerque… mistake! It was so much cleaner and peaceful here in Castle Rock! Will definitely stay here again!

Property was older but in good condition. Room was very clean. Breakfast was fantastic and the Breakfast attendant was top notch. Front desk staff during check in was the only negative for the stay which is why I didn't give the stay 5 stars. Not friendly at all she must have been having a bad day.

Was nice. Right by the front desk and still was quiet. Breakfast was minimal, always out of items, just eat breakfast out. Rooms were dated but clean. Beds were uncomfortable though.

Good location and nice amenities. Breakfast was very good and the property was clean. Only complaint is the noise. Air vent in the bathroom was super loud and old. Street noises were loud as well. Upgraded dual pane windows would help with the noise.

We stayed for four nights 5/1-5/5/24. The hotel was very quiet even though it is near the interstate and another busy street. The bathroom and room were very clean. The pool and hot tub were great too! The breakfasts were okay, not great. I wish they had a make-your-own Belgian waffle station.

Enjoyed the property except the bed. It was terribly soft so the only way I could sleep without my back hurting a lot was to be on the edge 1 foot of the mattress, where it held together better.
In addition, I don't know what it was about the bed, possibly feathers, etc., but both my wife and I found that our sinuses clogged up dramatically When we went to bed. This combination made the stay quite uncomfortable.

Hampton Inn are always great places to stay. I love that after a long travel day, I can get a hot beverage in the lobby. The internet was not available for a couple hours after we arrived and the breakfast bar was more sparse than usual -- no juice, no yogurt, no bread for toasting even though we were early (7:00) in the breakfast cycle.

Checkin was easy and out and smooth, however the women at the desk really seemed like they hated there jobs. There was no smiling, no greeting at all when walked up to the desk. I felt like I was inconveniencing them. Our room was clean, however the shower head was limed up so changing the setting was out, if you could even reach it it was so high I had to stand on my tip toes. The pillows sucked they were to sold. But the bed was great. Over all our one night stay was very good.
