This is our second time staying here and we like the property. The staff is multilingual and attentive. We go in early September which seems to be the off season so on one of our days we had the pool to ourselves. The hotel is situated so that we could take day tours to La Paz waterfalls garden, arenal volcano for zip lining and hot springs, Manual Antonio National park. Tortuguero Etc. they are long day tours but San Jose is centrally located for the most part. The staff at this hotel are amazing. Many remember our names and are very helpful with inquiries. We used the day spa as well and were able to reserve the day of on the first visit and we booked in advance for the second go. They are building another Hilton right across the street and we understood that they are off the same owners so this property will only get better fingers crossed. There is a small casino on site and a swim up bar at the pool.
Many of the staff have been at this hotel for decades which to me is a testament of how well they are received.
I hope you enjoy your stay if you select this hotel. We sure did.

We loved the inside/outside concept of the hotel and the breakfast was absolutely amazing! The esthetics of the hotel made our stay so enjoyable.

The staff was very kind and professional. When we arrived our room was not ready and they had upgraded us because of maintenance being done in our room. They allowed us access to the lounge so that we could relax while we waited. Overall the only suggestion is to have the pool heated during colder times. It was very hard to enjoy the pool because it was cold.

Could not reach anyone at the property by phone after 6pm. No warm water most of our stay. All dining is outdoors.

The pool area is beautiful as is the entire resort. The staff is super kind. The food in the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, but there’s a A lot of options very close. Walkable! The parking is included in a secure outdoor lot. Tour guides will pick you up at the front door.!

We liked everything about this hotel for the reasons identified above. The only thing that we weren't happy with at this hotel was the limited amount of towels and glassware cups that the housekeeper was willing to leave in the room after cleaning the room.

This was a $100 a night hotel at best. Our room stunk literally smelled like mildew and was pretty dated and and worn. Mixed drink from the bar were incredible but completely over priced compared to other hotels we stayed at all over the county. It’s a double tree not ritz, price your products as such.

The hotel was very tidy and it felt like its own little world. There was a restaurant with great food within the hotel and a spa where you can book massages to unwind. The pool area was clean and the pool itself too. My family and I had a lovely stay! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Everything was great. The staff were awesome, always ready to help. Hotel was clean. The Pool and jacuzzi is the highlight of this hotel!! Beautiful!! It feels that you’re not in the hotel, that’s how great it is.

The staff is wonderful and friendly. Food is fantastic. The grounds are gorgeous! I live in Costa Rica but has never stayed at this hotel before. After this stay, the Cariari is my new go to for when I need to get to the airport!

Service in the restaurants were slow and even slower getting the bill to me most times. The room didn't have the usual little things like tooth brush and paste, comb ect. Right across the street Hilton is building another hotel so during the day noisy

I would like to start saying,the staff good and friendly,the property is nice but for my personal opinion they need more light and more amenities for the costumer also the price for the food is to much,,and have some refrigerador! The buffet for breakfast don’t have to much choice a d again if you don’t have the breakfast included you piad araoud 20 dollars each person,,the good thing the have very close a farmacy,supermarket and others restaurant

The hotel is nice and the design is perfect. The bathroom shower leaks into the bathroom alot but that is because there is no caulk, we noticed this at other hotels, but the leaking was the worst here. It is not a big deal but just an fyi. The staff is wonderful, the breakfast delicious, the pool snd hot tub are nice too. The resturants around the hotel are good especially Taj Mahal Indian. Good location for the airport, a little drive to get into San Jose. Would definitely stay again.

there are no microwave or refrigerator in the rooms. you have have to make a request for one. other than that property is well kept and has a wonderful staff.

The property itself was very clean. The bathtub did need some cleaning. There was mold present in several areas.
Pool and hot tub were great. We ate at the restaurant too and the food was great.

It was great stay, really liked the hot spa around the pool. The restaurant food is really good including buffet. The balcony room had good pool view with lots of trees around. Good value for money!

We stayed only for one night. I was surprised at how big this hotel was. The shuttle from the airport was great and we had a good dinner in the hotel restaurant. There is a small gift shop where we bought some last minute souvenirs. The room was large, clean and comfortable. If we ever find ourselves flying into Costa Rica again, we'd come back.
