The desk staff was very kind and offered to pray for my family finding out the purpose of my trip was due to my father being in hospice.

The African American woman who claimed to be the supervisor. Literally forced me to pay a deposit of $100 on my room after I'd already stayed there one night on the second night when I wanted to stay another night at your fighting out I had another event I had to attend that required me to stay a second night in town. After I paid for my room through hotels.com she then called my room and told me I have to pay $100 deposit or I have to leave and I was not getting any of my money back for my room. She was very aggressive demanding rude disrespectful. When I refuse and said I've already paid for my room you going to need to give me my money back if you would like for me to leave she then said she to come on down stairs so she could whoop my ass. To diffuse the situation though there really was one I was an aggressive of all I just wanted my money back and told her I needed to speak to the supervisor she then said she was the supervisor. The next morning they claim that I smoked in the room and they were keeping my 100 deposit I am a non-smoker there is no way in hell these women are not conning people that come to the room and stay especially their locals they take their money and then threat to call the police on them when they demand their money back This is definitely a scam they are taking advantage of people she was a large woman and she had I think it was her daughter or some other girl related to her and the staff were scared of her they set back quietly & did nothing 🤔

Staff was excellent. Couldn’t have asked for any better. They are remodeling so it’s a little cluttered but I have no doubt it will be amazing when finished.

The hotel was obviously in the middle of remodeling and there were supplies everywhere and the place was a disaster. There was mold on the bed skirt. We asked to get a different room and it was in the same condition. The people were nice, however I feel like this place should have shut down until they were done with their remodeling and all their repairs.

This hotel was an absolute mess. I'm quite shocked there are reviews that give this place an exceptional rating. They must have stayed at a different hotel. I understand renovations and construction and would never be upset about that. It would have been nice to know that upfront. When we arrived, we were on a floor that only a couple of rooms were even usable on. I would have never allowed someone to occupy those rooms. The halls were filthy with actual trash littering the length. There was paint covering the carpets, furniture stacked from floor to ceiling, and water dripping from a security camera. We requested to art last be on another floor as the other two didn't seem quite as disgusting, snd were told "they were completely full".

I have stay here several times over the past three years. The condition of the facility has declined since my first stay. Not sure if they have had something happen that caused the needed work. I have liked staying there, just wish it looked cleaner and well maintained.
