Beach was so dirty you couldn’t even walk on it. The facility was dirty, sliding door was broken so a piece of PVC pipe was lodged into the door for a “lock”. Every night they had a twerking party and music ridiculously loud. The grill food was good but all other food was garbage. Wife said her steak reminded her of Waffle House. Thank God we rented a car and left everyday for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Views were amazing but you get those anywhere on the island. Our room was only cleaned once throughout the week and I had to offer a tip for that. lol. First and last time Divi will ever see us. We go on two vacations a year so that’s a lot of revenue. On top of that Expedia abandoned us with the “name change” on our plane tickets. My wife couldn’t change her name in time for our trip so I tried to get it changed to her maiden name. They basically told me to screw myself. I could barely understand the representative and I kept hearing a chicken crow in the background! (I’m not even playing) Thank God American helped us pre flight. Now we are in the Virgin Islands and I’m praying United will help us to get home. Last Time Expedia will ever get a cent out of me. Please book your own tickets, hotels and rentals. These places want your money and then you are worthless.

I had a wonderful time at the resort. We stayed in July of 2024. When we first arrived it was hot and we were sweating. We were standing at the check in desk. A staff member came and handed us some ice cold punch stating we looked like we could use a cold drink. The resort is beautiful. The food is delicious. I ordered a steak well done and the cook actually knew how to cook a steak without burning it. The room was beautiful. Our balcony sat out right over the ocean and the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep every night. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options. One morning they ran out of pancakes. I asked the omelette cook if they were going to put more pancakes out. She went and cooked me more pancakes from scratch. This was my birthday trip and staff went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed myself. The casino is across the street and staff will give you a ride in a golf cart if you ask. We were so impressed that while we were there we looked up other Divi resorts in other locations to try on future trips.

There was an abundance of sea weed along the beach that was never removed. We couldn’t access the beach at all. There is no 24 hour service. Everything shuts down at 11PM including food, drinks, entertainment and casino. The casino is separate from the resort (not attached). The gym is separate from the resort (not attached). The entertainment is very weak and only last for 30 mins when/if they do bring in outside entertainment. They don’t follow their listed agenda of entrainment. It’s no entertainment and no games basically. I would not go back to this resort again. We had to leave everyday in order to have a good time.

Overall, i love the property. What i did not like is that the front desk did not allow me to charge the tips to my room since i did not have enough cash. I find it odd when they say they are trying to go cashless and will not be able to do so. Just like they do electronic transfer for staff salaries, they could have also included the tips in their salary. I was very dissappointed

This resort is described as an all inclusive. You pay for the inclusivity but it offers very little. The resort at best is 3 stars out of 5. The servers and staff very helpful and courteous. It appears the resort maybe going through budget restructuring. There were limited restaurants and activities available. If you are staying for a fews day that maybe okay, however if you have an extended stay you will need to leave resort and spend more for more activities and options.

Couldn’t use the beach because of seaweed over flow… they finally started cleaning on my last day

I would like to start off by saying this property is absolutely beautiful, we were greeted with rum punch (or mutiny vodka punch, not sure) and the front desk staff is AMAZING! Alyssa was by far the sweetest person ever and she really made our stay the best! Jonathan the bellhop was so helpful and kind. Everyone on staff was amazing these are just the ones we engaged with the most! Our room was so lovely and clean, very modern except for there was no microwave which there should be especially given it does have a kitchenette. The main pool and hot tub by wave bar are spacious and have such pretty views, the pool is also the perfect temperature. With that being said there are a few things you should keep in mind before booking and things the hotel can improve on, the menu at the pool bar has been altered as doesn’t have as many options as they do online (I highly recommend the sweet chili wings and the pizza as everything else is kinda hit or miss depending on who’s cooking) I personally was looking forward to ceviche which they no longer have. Other than that, the food at the buffet section and Italian restaurant is great in comparison to other all inclusive hotels, however again not many options. They had an algae issue but that’s not within their control. They don’t really have much to do, no dj all day or vibes. The hotel has ALOT of potential. They should utilize the property more. Overall great say but probably wouldn’t come back until major changes in entertainment

We came here for our honeymoon and stayed for 4 nights. The location is beautiful, the staff are welcoming and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and all the food is delicious. The staff really deserve a raise for their hospitality. However, the beach was not accessible because there was so much seaweed that came ashore. The smell was horrible like rotten fish the entire stay. We could not enter the ocean because of the seaweed that was about 8 ft thick from the sand into the water. The staff even said that they should have removed some of it or provided us with free passes to another beach. It really ruined the trip that we had to deal with that smell everytime we left the room (even opening the door stunk up our ocean view room) and no access to the ocean or water activities. We also were surprised that the microwaves had recently been removed from all the rooms despite being advertised in the online pictures. We could not reheat any food. I would also suggest they offer complementary airport shuttles. The taxi drivers were extorting people charging $30 per person. Overall, we made the best of it and tried to relax but we would not return to this resort unless these issues were resolved.

What we were looking for. Not up to everyone’s standards, but perfect for us. All inclusive in USVI for a great price. Staff was on point. Drinks were premium and plentiful. Food was good not great. Room was very comfortable. Pool is awesome. Beach had issues but so did every beach on St Croix with seaweed.

The people are very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the beach had washed up seaweed about a foot deep and was washed up about three feet in land. Yes, its mother nature. But resort did not clean it away over the period of 4 days. On the fifth day a tractor attempted to scrap it away but it must have broke down because it stopped working an hour later. It was really disappointing. But the pool was clean and clear.

We had a wonderful 1st time experience at Divi.. everyone was super friendly and the food was amazing! We didn’t want to leave.. We will definitely be back!

We had a great 10 year anniversary trip. The staff was very helpful & pleasant. Cole was very kind and helpful. Overall great experience. One thing to mention, there was seaweed on the beach. Obviously the resort cannot control this. However, we asked someone about a beach we could visit & they mentioned Rainbow beach. Rainbow beach is nice but it’s 45 minutes away from the resort. When we were checking out, we went to Point Udall which was only 11 minutes away. On the was there, we passed Cramer’s Park! We stopped there and the beach was BEAUTIFUL and exactly what we were looking for. It would have been nice if the staff would have mentioned this beach instead. It was even better than Rainbow beach and so close to the resort. And there was no seaweed! It was perfect.

The people who works here really make this place special. Some of the property is dated, but not terrible. Everything is clean and maintained. We were very happy with our vacation.

We were pleasantly surprised. The staff is so accommodating. The food was delicious, the non-alcohol drinks were very good. The events were fantastic. We will definitely be back.

normally a resort has more than one pool. never had to wait for food and drinks until i came here. aslo resort had a cut off time for food thats was strange to me.

This resort is on a beautiful beachfront property. Unfortunately, the water is rocky and full of seaweed which accumulates on the beach and makes the beach appear dirty. Definitely no crystal clear beaches here. But the pool area and hot tub are a nice alternative.

We stayed three nights. 2 out of the three nights we had no water and the 3rd night our water never got hot inside the shower.

Rocky beach. I was eaten up by sand fleas. Limited dining, no activities. Rude housekeeping staff. Overall unpleasant experience. Only bright spot were the two young ladies working in the coffee shop. I very likely won't visit Divi Carina Bay Resort in St. Croix, or the island itself again.

The Divi Resort is far from a resort . The beach was nothing like the pictures . I could have stayed in NY for that kind of beach . You have to travel elsewhere if you are seeking those beautiful turquoise waters with white sand . It has 1 outdoor bar that makes the same 5 meals everyday all day .They do not offer food room service. The buffet they offer is very limited and if you go early a lot food is gone No and you have very limited options. The Italian restaurant was just mediocre. The drinks were decent nothing to rave about. The staff was very friendly and genuine. The vibe is island but more like low end . The amount of money you will spend for 2 people, Unfortunately would not recommend it. You can go to many other places that will be much more enjoyable.

Didn’t like the rooms balcony doors will not close all the way and the last two days that we were there no hot water. One other front desk service representative was real rude to people, but outside of that the food was amazing and I enjoyed myself

The property was clean and service was good. The resort needs some additional dining options. Overall it was a good value for the price and we enjoyed our stay.

We experienced a water outage during our stay and there was no communication or plan. We were not given basic necessities.

The bartenders and and cooks were amazing!! The front desk staff were not so great. They were not friendly, not helpful or accommodating at all. The bartenders and cooks are amazing! The last day on Tuesday they swept the beach was great. I wish they did that everyday.

Very enjoyable time. Look forward to returning next year!

This was a nice quiet stay. The staff is excellent but they are working with limited resources. There’s only one dining choice during the day, the bar and grill with 2 bartenders and most of the time 1 cook for the whole property. Maybe the owners did not expect such rapid expansion but they need more dining options and more help. When you pay for all inclusive you expect some choices in food. But as I said the staff is excellent. Also it’s on a bay and the swimming there is not ideal but there’s a great pool. I would return again if they have more food choices.

Everything was perfect.
