Lalit used to be a good chain of hotels but they don't renovate their hotels so you might have the impression of a good but old hotel. This is my 3rd visit in this hotel.
The staff is an issue: they are slow to fix any difficulty you may face. I suppose this come sfrom their training so they always call a manager who will not help you more.
Two main issues with this Lalit Dehli: some rooms face the train station and since many trains run in the night and blow horn, those rooms are very noisy. So ask for rooms facing the street. They know it very well but will pretend the contrary to reject your request
Secondly and surely the biggest issue is the breakfast hall. When the hotel is very busy, they open two halls... but even like this, you have to queue to get a table (sometimes 10 mn) and then you need to wait that they prepare the table and the buffet will be half empty.
So it is a rather good 4 star hotel but don't expect a luxurious 5 stars.

Terrible ! So called 5 star hotel response time to Air con burning and smell in room 30 mins , emergency call button on phone gets answered after 4 times calling . Perhaps person sitting and watching Netflix seriers . To change room I had to go down and literally loose my cool.
F&B without even checking with Chef’s servers take 2 seconds to deny things attitude is this is what we have take it or Buggar off.

It is a very well located hotel with excellent staff. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was of good standard.
A few points could be attended to:
. The room did not have an iron, which we had to ask for (but it was delivered promptly)
. We were not given a non-smoking room that we had requested in advance
. The gym was small for a hotel of this size, and dominated by a personal trainer.
. the swimming pool was without an attendant for quite some time.

The guy managing the pool was lost in himself. We asked for water which came after almost an hour! Then there was a dinner bill which was put in our name when we didn’t even have dinner there. The folks at the reception were good but there was something off with the vibe that you need in places like this. Looks like the staff managing a few thing like restaurant/pool etc… isn’t well trained and they are also not well managed.

Absolutely beautiful hotel inside. Our room was very nice as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. The property felt very safe and every car was checked entering; bags also scanned.
The location was convenient for the plans I had and was a relatively close walk to food options. The restaurant on site looked good, but was quite costly.

Very pleasant experience at our stay. The room was spacious with the separate bathtub in the bath room. The hospitality and the ambience is amazing. We had our dinner at the OKO restaurant was great and the service was amazing. We opted for the room with breakfast which was on the average side with not so much options in my opinion as compared to other 5 star hotels, that was a little downturn for us. I was expecting breakfast to be amazing. Overall, a great experience with the staff who went extra mile to make us feel comfy. Would love to stay again.

The staff was pleasant though my best experience was with a waiter in the coffee shop who served my wife and I at the breakfast table on both days of my stay. He was very attentive, courteous and proactive while providing us excellent service that used to be the highlight of my mornings. His name is Jitendra Pandey, an old timer with old fashioned values and a great sense of responsibility and ownership. Many many thanks to him from both my wife and I. 🙏

Room assigned was nice. However, when we used the shower, it was discovered that the drain was plugged. Water overflowed. It took three calls for assistance. We were given another room which was not as nice. As far as cleanliness, it could do with an improvement.

The Bell staff was exceptional, Especially Pawan!
Pawan was able to fix my broken bag and arrange for a courier to pick up my bags to be shipped back to the USA.
He was easy to communicate with, very friendly, and very knowledgeable about how to get things accomplished.

I was happy with the stay. The snack items at the cocktail hour for the business suite was underwhelming and I suggest improving the snacks.

Our stay was very comfortable. It was centrally located and it was very convenient for us. We loved the food and our stay there.

The place is just amazing yet the staff are so hard to deal with, the operator and reception never pick up, and when they do you never get anything done, you keep on waiting for hours. I asked for someone to fix the sink and waited a whole day, I asked to change the room and never got a reply back.

Good trip - hotel is very business oriented and lots of other guests around. Seemed a bit dated and sometimes the corners of rooms weren’t the cleanest. However overall a plensant stay and a good location to explore Delhi from

Not 5 star. More like 3. Nice enough hotel but we had a disappointing experience. We have to ask many times for extra towels. Had an extra guest stay for one night. They didn’t bring up the extra bed. Last night ordered room service and was told we had to pay cash and couldn’t put on our bill. But the previous night we could add to our rooms bill. Then the food was cold. For the price we paid I expected more. Breakfast selection huge, but very average.
