We had a great time, the hotel is really beautiful I like the decor and pools. I think the resort fee is excessive. Overall it was nice.

This hotel is one of the best in Surfside, but the front desk staff are very slow

I was disappointed in this hotel for what I paid per night. Only 2 elevators worked and were slow so there was always a long wait. More than once i waited over 45 min for a drink. The bed was very uncomfortable and the floor was coming up. Also, only 4 stations on the TV worked.

When I entered the room after the check in the AC was off and not working at 80, the room was very hot. I called the front desk and someone was there to fix it. From that day to the next it dropped from 80 to just 75 because I set it at 68. The minibar doesn't work everything was hot inside. the four-way shower only works 2. Shower on my room was bad. the curtain did not close completely. if you closed one side, the other opened and light came in in the morning. My experience was not good in this room!

Awesome property

This hotel was wonderful. Made me sorry my first couple days in Miami were spent in an ABnB that was less than adequate. We were considering cancelling our trip to St. Thomas to stay longer, but that was already bought and paid for. Highly recommend this property. Worth every penny we spent for the night.

All spectacular, the view, the beach, the service in the restaurant, the exquisite food, they welcomed me with champagne. I loved everything, the room, super clean, incredible, I'll come back

The hotel is lovely and the rooms are nice too. The service however was 1 stars. I had landed after an 11 hour flight and tried to contact them for early check in. It proved a nightmare to get hold of someone, was passed about from person to person and got the phone hung up on me twice. Upon checking in I was told with a casual smile that they simply didn't have enough staff. I've stayed in Bal Harbour before mostly at the St Regis and you can't compare the service. The person checking me in ( female with curly hair) was quite rude and didn't seem to care much. No valet parking, something I find strange in that area. Late checkout was requested kindly and although my room wasn't sold I was given just over an hour and had to pay hourly after. Communication was poor between staff about everything. From when I checked in and had to schlep my 3. Bags up myself to the Late checkout saga. Won't stay there again and will not recommend. Visit the St Regis 3 mins walk away but miles apart in service and experience b

Great hotel

The staff were mixed - some were great like the beach and pool staff and Reuben at the front desk. Others were not so good. Also, the housekeeping staff was terrible. They didn’t clean one day, they missed replenishing things. The hotel itself was ok - beautiful location.

Love staying here every time in Miami

The property is the only beach property that I have ever heard of that has a rule that umbrellas must be lowered if wind speeds are over 15mph. As a result, we could not use the beach!

Overall, the hotel views itself and prices itself as an upscale property... but that's where it ends. The hotel has a lovely, chic lobby but the quality drops off once you move to the rooms and the outdoor areas. The staff is nice and functional but a far cry from a luxury property like a Ritz or St. Regis. Sadly, we found the roof top adult pool deck area a mess of trash and the spas broken - which no one told us about until we asked the attendant why they weren't working. The beach access is excellent so take full advantage of it.

It was a nice hotel but the price did not match the quality, and the service. First, we called a week in advance to ask for an early check in because we were traveling with a child and our flight was scheduled to land around 9 in the morning. They had told us that it wouldn’t be a problem to accommodate an early check in of 11 am, their check in is at 4 pm, check out is at 11 am. We ended up waiting till 3 pm, I understand they may have been booked up but half of this hotel was empty. We got to a tour of three different rooms in order to chose what kind of room we’d like as well. Second, the beach cabana access closes at 4/5 pm. And 3rd, they had a mini bar in the room which I assumed to be complimentary as most hotels that I’ve been to do, but it wasn’t. instead a single bottle of Evian water was $10. I could finish a bottle of water in one sitting and my husband and I drink lots of water. Imagine paying 10 dollars per bottle. To me that was actually insane!! The stores around sell the same bottle of water for 2, 3 bucks. The hotel is located in a very Jewish populated area so most places close early and are closed Saturdays because of Shabbat. Some of the staff are very pleasant and welcoming, but some are the complete opposite. As much as I really tried liking this resort hotel I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We booked through a third party and they wouldn’t even allow us the option to upgrade to have breakfast included for a fee per person. Too many hidden fees as well

Very disappointed with the staff and management. We lost some items and the staff never returned it . This hotel staff has issue with integrity ( including hotel manager Richard) . I love The property and I would return again if it was not for the staff and not professional managers . Be careful !!!

We were given their “best room” and it was in horrible condition. The floor was coming apart and in some areas had tape over it holding it together. The shower handle fell off as I was getting in and the room just did not feel clean at all. Would not recommend to anyone to stay here.

This hotel is an oceanfront property on the best beach in Miami

the check in staff has continued its downward trend over the past few years, making my most recent stay my final one. the hotel is tired and used. they downgraded to cheaper soaps and shampoos, minimal snacks, etc... feels like its best days are behind it.
