Been to Scandic in Finland and now in Sweden , the perfect place to stay .

This was a brilliant hotel for us a family of four with two teenagers. Table tennis, board games, health spa and gym. Breakfast wad amazing and totally centrally located 5 mins from central station and tram and bus options. Staff were totally great and generous in their giving of some bits free of charge. Hotel room clean tidy very comfortable and cool with fan if needed will definitely stay again

Enjoyed staying at the Scandic Crown hotel - Göteborgs. Welcoming staff, comfortable lounge and relaxing room. The hotel is close to Göteborgs konstmuseum (Gothenburg Museum of Art) and the City Avenue. Breakfast was nutritious, amazing and delicious. Football table at entertainment section, was challenging to win a game with my son, the score was 10 - 2 to son, but had a great laugh together. Parking at hotel was full when arrived and end up paying for parking and fine.

The location of the property is perfect. It’s close to the central station and all of the top attractions.

Great location, very pleasant staff and clean.

Excellent hotel for families. The staff was really friendly. The play area was really popular among our kids. The lobby and restaurant/bar areas are really great as well. Two negatives: firstly, our room was pretty worn out and in need of a serious upgrade. Secondly, the bar ran out of beer from tap (all four variants!) on our first night - and it stayed like this throughout our three day stay. The longhaired male bartender was pretty arrogant and did not even apologize.

I have mixed feelings after my stay at Scandic Crown. Let’s start with the positives. The location is fantastic, right in the central downtown area and we walked almost everywhere. For the longer trips the central station was only a few minute walk. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the restaurant was also great for having dinner or drinks and we dined there a couple of times, really nice. Really cozy ambiance and very family friendly. The less nicer things about this hotel are the rooms. We stayed at a family room which is something we are quite used to doing. The kids got murphy bunk beds which was in itself not bad and saved space during the day, but the matresses were terrible, almost paperthin. That’s Ok for toddlers maybe, but not older kids. The master bed was also terrible, mattress way too soft and the undermatress had no cover and had become brown-ish over the years and seeing it was very off-putting. The housekeeping was also rather poor. When we got the room it was OK clean. We stayed there for a week and no one came to clean, so we booked a special cleaning session halfway through our stay. We packed up and put away all our stuff (so they would have easier access) and went out during, and when we came back they hadn’t cleaned at all! only a little bit in the bathroom and replaced the towels. We assumed this was just the extent of the service and were really disappointed, but later discovered that this was not normal! Overall an OK stay, might return. 3/5

We got in late and were really tired after travelling all day. Check-in was very quick and easy with easy going and very helpful reception staff. Parking was easy. Rooms were clean and tidy and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast and breakfast staff absolutely fantastic!!! It is nice to see so many youngsters working hard and taking pride in what they do. I will absolutely come back!!!

No specific complaints about the hotel. It was decent. But if you park in their garage - beware. The staff tells you the price in Swedish Kronas. But if you are not from Sweden they charge your credit card in your own currency (USD in my case) by default. I guess it's buried in their fine print on their CC machine despite the fact the clerk tells you the Krona price. So it ends up being like an extra 5% because of their crappy exchange rate and fees. It's not a lot of money but more the principal.

Really loved the location of this hotel, where you can walk easily to the train station which was important to us, as we had luggage. Lobby of hotel was spacious and welcoming. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was small but adequate. Breakast spread was amazing and of a good variety. Do include it if you can!

The room was amazing, except we felt that it was too small for 3-4 people. The beds and furniture were too close together, so there was less room to move around. Other than that, everything is good and the location was conveniently located between the train station and city center.

The staff on the bar was awesome. Very friendly and kind. I didn’t like that in the hotels.com website there was no information about the extra price for the garage. It’s not an negligible value. Today, on the end of April 2024 it’s 345 SEK per night

Room was comfortable, staff really pleasant and lots of choice at breakfast. Good location as only a short walk from the station

We had a slightly bigger toom which was nice with some extra space. The room decor and furniture was a bit old but the bed was okay in comfort. The bathroom was okay, was probabaly clean but you could see it was older and had some yellow spots in the ceiling. Staff was nice. Breakfast was okay with your standard offering of items. Pancakes were a bit tough around the edges the first day but better the 2nd day of our stay. Very close to the railway station and city which was a big bonus. From outside the hotel looks really old and not so modern but we were pleasantly surprised once we got to the reception and room. We did feel like the price was a bit too high for the standards of the hotel.

Very nice Hotel & very close to the main train train station which is great if you need to catch an early train. Breakfast was very good with a great selection. Nice Bar area. Staff were very helpfull . Main shopping area & restaurants are just a short wak away.

Superb hotel..! Every one of the staff we spoke to was polite and helpful, and the all-round clean environment brilliant! The Scandic Crown is conveniently located just a few minutes from Central Station and the Nils Ericson Bus terminal, and also around a 10-minute walk into the shopping/restaurant streets of Gothenburg. Fantastic choice of stay for us!!

Helt ok hotell, litt lite rom for 3 personer. Veldig god frokost. Fant en brukt snuspose ved senga ☹️

The room was really basic. Shower left the bate room floor wet everywhere. Almost no space to walk around the room.

Property would benefit from a better menu at restaurant. The food choice and taste was average for those with longer stays. Very helpful staff and overall good stay.

It was fine. We wanted close to the train station and so it’s perfect.

The hotel is clean, in close proximity to tourist attraction, the breakfast amazing and the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly
