Destiny was very helpful giving me solid recommendations for the best place for food and drink in Hayward as well as simply being sincere in her hospitality in welcoming me to the area. She also provided me with answers to my numerous questions about the local Ojibewe Nation and their culture.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The pool was nice although the hot tub was not working. The a/c unit in the room was caked with nasty dust in the filter. I refused to even turn it on. The carpet was sticky. The furniture was stained and there were large areas behind the chair where the wall had been damaged and paint missing.

The location was good. Breakfasts were good. Some employees were polite and friendly. When an employee was asked a question, she did not answer. The hot tub was out of order. Due to pain my son has, he was especially looking forward to this. There was a centipede in our bathroom.

Room service and cleanliness of room was nice. Front desk host who checked was super unfriendly and unwelcoming. Handicap parking needed for our stay and was being used by those without a handicap placard. Told the same front desk host, nothing was done. Same thing happened thru out our stay.

Wonderful experience. This particular AmericInn was exceptionally well managed. Clean, very helpful staff, accommodating, patient. Breakfast was very good for what it is. They clearly take their business seriously. The only flaw was the hot tub was closed down. I’m serious, that was the only thing I can come up with. The pool was heated though so it kind of made up for it. There were several restaurants in the immediate area. It was a great experience. Looking forward to staying there again soon.

My door barely closed to be able to secure the deadbolt and door. Otherwise the room was adequate for falling asleep and leaving right away in the morning. It was a bummer that the hot tub was not working as it was the reason I chose this hotel.

Have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the last couple years. Each time it goes downhill. Hot tub has not worked in over a year. This time one of the employees had her whole family there and they were completely obnoxious. Loud and yelling until 4 am. Making the hotel smell like marijuana which is not legal, but since it was their family they didn’t seem to care about any of that. The mouse traps in the lobby were a turnoff as well. Definitely do NOT recommend.

Have stayed here numerous time over the last few years and this hotel has gotten worse and worse each time. Seems to be a party place for local people, loud until 4:00 am with smells of pot. Pool and hot tub have not been operational the last few times we have stayed. Probably not going to stay there again. Would not recommend it!

This is the second time I have stayed here and it has been excellent both times. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, very quiet and a great breakfast with many options. I highly recommend a stay here.

Hot tub and pool were not working/not heated. That's one of the reasons we went there and we weren't told about the hot tub until after we checked in and not told about the pool heater not working literally as we were walking down the hall with kids who had their heart set on it.... They could have updated the website so we knew, but no. Hot tub wasn't working last year, so this was probably our last time staying here. Breakfast was pretty sparse both days.

The front staff working when I checked in was very kind and helpful.
However:
The bathroom looked like it was in the middle of a remodeling project, with hair in the tub.
I did not have a comforter or blanket on my bed, so it was difficult to keep the temperature in my room at a comfortable level.

Breakfast was alright, nothing spectacular. The pool area is not very clean, and the hot tub was not operational. The rooms are nice enough for a short stay.

Would consider this a below average stay. Room had dirt all over the floor upon entering. Area around the hotel had scattered cigarette pieces. Breakfast was underwhelming. Overall, just wasn’t terribly accommodating
