The facility is very nice and clean. Service was excellent. Hot breakfast was great. Room was modern and well appointed. Just be aware that the Ironwood area is depressed and there is a lack of dining typically found around a hotel. I selected this hotel as I try to stay at Americinn because they are consistently clean and a good value. I would stay again if in the area. Location was in the middle of my destination from point A to point B so just an overnight stay. Nice pool area.

It was a little pricey for what you get. I have stayed at an Embassy Suites for less and had a Chef prepare a made to order omelet the morning I awoke and had a happy hour with free wine and hors devours on my first evening. Here I had a Jimmy dean breakfast sandwich and make your own waffles. Over breakfast I struck up a conversation another guest who said it was the nicest hotel in town. As we drove around during our stay, we saw a town in disrepair and full of marijuana shops, That is the source of the problem. I would not stay at this hotel again or any other in town because I can't imagine what drug users I would encounter at the other places. Here I only encountered three young men smoking marijuana outside of the back door, withing the 50ft restriction for smoking anything. I would stay in in Wisconsin. Probably Minocqua and drive the 40 min to Ironwood if I had business in Ironwood.

Receptionist were all very friendly and helpful! Hotel very clean and a nice walking trail behind it. Pool area was a little tired looking. Overall very nice place to stay.

The pool was freezing. Hotel was OK but felt overpriced. Breakfast was nice. Staff is good.

Staff was lovely, but the air conditioner in our room had a cycling problem and cycled on and off every 2 to 3 minutes with a loud clunk of the compressor after each cycle. There’s also seem to be a second problem with a big dryer, vibrating the room from underneath. The staff stopped the dryer and the air conditioner from outside, and I was able to shut the air conditioner in our room off and open the window. I had a poor night of sleep. they’re going to see about getting it looked at by maintenance. Otherwise all was great and maybe this was the only room with an issue.

We loved Stacey at the desk, however the property was disappointing. First if you have any disabilities beware! There isn’t an elevator and there isn’t anyone to assist you with your luggage up the stairs. The second disappointing this are the pool/spa/hot tub hours. They close early and have times when kids can’t be in the pool. Honestly, for the money, as it was the most expensive hotel in the area, I would not recommend it. Spend less and go to Days Inn.

The room was beautiful and clean except damp. The floor was damp, towels were damp. Otherwise the stay was awesome.

This property is an older hotel and the carpet is definitely showing the dirt and age, but other than that it was a nice place.

Nice place, right off the main road through town. My only suggestion is to have wet wipes available in the breakfast area. At all hotels. Most of the breakfasts involve syrup. Thank you!

Needs updating. Tub was chipped and drain was chipped/rusting. Inside bathroom door had large chipped paint. Room had a slight musty smell, but the beds were clean and comfortable, air stayed cold like we like. I had to do laundry, paid more than the AmericaInn in two harbors and it was a nicer hotel

Front desk personnel were very friendly, knowledgeable of the area, professional & courteous. Very convenient location.

While it wasn't the worst I have stayed in, It defiantly needs a bit of TLC.... outdated style, carpets in disarray and a bit of a funk smell. Beds are FIRM and pillows average. The paper products and soaps not bad. Pool and hot tub need a good cleaning and repairs. Breakfast hours were 6-10 am however at 9:15am there wasn't anything in the warmer. Evening staff was great checking us in but morning staff not so much. I would stay here again because it was fairly clean just a few things missed or half-cleaned.

It was nice and comfortable but needed some TLC the workers were amazing.

The management was awesome and very accommodating to a room change absolutely hassle free..

My Husband and I booked a room with this hotel for Wednesday and Thursday checking out Friday about a week in advance through Expedia. Worst mistake ever!!! I called Expedia back that Tuesday figuring I would have to cancel letting them know that I just realized I didn't get paid til that Thursday. Expedia guaranteed that it wouldn't be an issue as they had my card information on file and I could pay at check out on Friday. We get to the hotel on Wednesday to check in and couldn't get a room because we didn't have the money up front. We drove 5 hours for nothing. We waisted out time and gas for nothing. However it was not the hotels fault so after we drove back to our stomping grounds we ended up getting a hotel as the owner at Paradise Shores in Holcombe WI had a little faith in humanity so the next day, now that I had the money on my card, we decided to go back to Michigan and got a room at the same hotel. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff were amazing. If you're in the area We highly recommend going to the AmericInn Wyndham Hotel in Ironwood Michigan but if You value You're time and money, steer clear of booking through Expedia...

Very good hotel

The room was comfortable clean and spacious. Check in was easy and fast. Free breakfast was delicious.

The pillows were rock hard. The room smelled of stinky dogs. The towels felt damp and wet. The heat kicked on every 20 minutes and was loud. The breakfast was all prepackaged garbage. The area for dogs to go to the bathroom had no poo bags, we noticed people letting their dogs poo and no one picked it up due to the lack of bags and this led to the area being filled with poop. I would not stay here again.

Check-in was seamless. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a room at end of hallway next to ice machine, vending machines, laundry and exit door. We did not hear a thing the whole night.
