This hotel is in a safe part of town and is relatively close to some good food and drink spots in Anchorage. Our check-in process was not good. We arrived well after check -in and our room wasn’t ready. The front desk attendant told us to come back in an hour. We came back over an hour and a half later, and the room was still not ready. We offered to change to a non-accessible room, and then suddenly a room was available. The room was nice, the beds were comfy, and the pool and hot tub were great. Overall the hotel is nice but it needs some work. The carpets need shampooing and there are many deferred maintenance and housekeeping issues that need attention. The “restaurant” was not good at all and the happy hour drinks were pretty expensive. I’m not sure that we would stay here again, which is a shame because it is so close to being really great.

I was not pleased with the cleanliness of my room at this property. It did not spell great either. I have stayed at the hotel many times and have not experienced this before. My only reprieve was that I was only staying for one night.

Well the service was not good. Night deck lady was sketchy. We had to change our room because the window lock was removed and there was signs of people crawling into the room from the roof.
We were robbed out of our vehicle directly in front of the hotel. Then told by the lady there are only cameras on other locations of the building.

The property looks great from the outside. Got keys for our room to find out the AC didn't work & we didn't get the mountain view we paid for. Back to the front desk to find out that we were stuck with our room, so off to the pool to cool off. Pool was closed for construction. We spent good money on a summer get away! No AC, no mountain view, no pool or hot tub, blood or feces on our office chair & no call back from the location manager. Zero help from hotel staff, all we ever heard was we need to talk with the manager. For some reason the manager mysteriously was never around the hotel to address our issue or concerns. I truly would've picked somewhere else if it wasn't falsely advertised.

The swimming pool was not available due to upgrades or repairs, which was not made obvious until we arrived at the hotel. The was breakfast “available” but not provided. Many of the carpets in the hallways were dirty and stained. It wasn’t terrible, but not what I was expecting.

It was not up to the standard I expected from Hilton Garden Inn, especially for the high cost of the room. It was shabby and in need of repairs. The mattress was very cheap and I could feel each individual spring.

This place is a literal joke! I arrived early morning Saturday-4:00 am, the night desk lady was a power ridden delight 🙄. I was confused with their method of billing because I had booked my stay starting midnight Friday. Being my first time to Anchorage, traveling with my child, I did my best to be prepared & with my plane arriving early in the morning hours of Saturday, I wanted assurance that we would have a place to sleep. apparently it doesn’t matter when you physically check in, you are charged full for a night not occuping said room. I had the audacity to ask if I was being charged full price for Friday night, with me technically checking in Saturday morning. she replied with a large amount of attitude that I entered Friday night as my arrival. Every other place I have stayed at & arriving in the early hours would be charged half price. Not the case here. I mentioned I had been traveling for quite sometime that day and I was not going to argue nor did I appreciate her attitude towards me. To my surprise, she proceeds to argue with me about not giving me attitude, then threatening with if my tone didn’t change with her, she would to ask me to leave! mind you I had already paid for my stay in advance, and would not be refunded. that’s beyond wild! I arrive to my room, to find the heater & the television in non working condition, outdated smelly, possible bed bug infestation, resembling a room at motel 6, that is half the price. Requested Refund, manager denied..

The pool was unusable, carpets stained, one elevator broken, they offered to use the pool/spa at another hotel next door and the spa was broken/ no heat, so waste of time. I will be writing a letter to the company office about our stay

Overall, it was an ok experience, but nothing great. The light switches were dirty, especially in the bathroom. We were unable to check in on the app or get a digital key for some reason, which was super annoying. No one was at the front desk when we arrived and we had to wait for someone to check us in. Elevator was extremely slow getting to the 3rd floor. This was my first time staying at a Hilton hotel and I was expecting it to be posh. Paris would never stay at this hotel.

The room was never cleaned from previous stay .. sheets were not changed , no shower gel, dirt everywhere … when we complained she said sorry there is no housekeeping available and I don’t have any other rooms .. she gave me new sheets so I can change them myself … when we got there we had to wait pas check in time because room was not even ready .. she said she will have manager contact me for refund .. I have called 3 times but no manager has returned my call .. super frustrating experience, this is not what we expect from Hilton . Extremely poor customer service !

Staff is unknowledgeable, isn't forth coming with information, empty bottles of soap and conditioner in my room and a missing hook behind my bathroom door. We had to use the pool next door at their sister hotel, red stains on the carpet in the hallway, bottom part of ac/heater is broken. A cot and bottle of soap request went unfulfilled by any staff member and only Diamond Members get top floor unbeknownst to me...

The property was under construction and unsafe. There were glass lighting fixtures on the stairs in the stairwells, which were fairly dark.
During our stay the city was warmer than usual and A/C was supposed to work in the room--it did not. I contacted the staff multiple times a day throughout our stay to get the issue resolved and it never was.
The first room we had when we arrived had furniture with wet pain and no signs so our clothes got wet paint on them.

Jacuzzi and pool were both out of commission, not stated in the website while booking. Also, there was a room on our floor that was incredibly dirty from being worked on and created a lot of noise early in the morning. Lastly, multiple homeless in the area that we caught rummaging through the trash cans. Overall, absolutely do not recommend this hotel

I am not sure if the room was cleaned before we checked in. There was "splatter" near the desk, where you are able to eat, dirt/grease all over the outlets. One of the plugs for a USB did not work at all, it wouldn't even hold the plug, honestly looked like it was for show only. In the restroom there was a "qtip" sticker plastered to the vanity.
The pool was out of service, which was not communicated during booking, although the hotel next door was offered for the pool, still very inconvenient.

Property was under construction and we were never informed the whole reason we book the hotel was the pool and it was close do to construction the lighting was very poor lights were dim and flickering and hummed very loudly you had to go on a scavenger hunt to find the button to call the elevator and 16 dollars for breakfast per plate is pretty ridiculous but the staff was friendly and nice and pretty helpful

Drilling, when the front desk was asked to move us. It was an inconvenience for them. And then they waited until it was inconvenience for us to try to move us and they were absolutely.
