It was a great location along the river albeit a bit of a head scratcher getting there. Not that it was hard to find but it seemed to be in an industrial park area next to a rail line and temporary FEMA warehouse location. Other than that, once you got on property, it was a great location listening to the river from the room's balcony or one of the decks along the river.
Breakfast was very nice and changed slightly each day and fresh choices were available. The attendant was very pleasant and kept the area clean and organized.
Our second floor corner room was very large with lots of room equipped with a microwave and a larger dorm sized fridge. The sink around the underside of the bowl in the bathroom could use a bit if scrubbing under the rim and possibly a new bead of fresh silicone caulk but otherwise a lovely room. When we return we will likely stay again.

The hotel is situated in a lovely place by the river. We had a riverside room w/a balcony and listening to the river while sitting on the balcony was very relaxing. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Hot and cold options were available for beakfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We plan to return and recommend this establishment.

Our keycard to the room never worked. Furniture in the dining room should have been replaced long ago.
The area around the hotel felt very industrial and beside the river was not very pretty.
The bed was comfortable, however the sofa bed was old and still had an uncomfortable and noisy spring mattress. The cushions on the couch looked like the had been redone, but they looked horrible like the my didn’t fit. The shower would stop working in the middle of taking a show, and the come back.
Liked the coffee machine with all the different choices of coffee.

It’s a nice view over the river. We stayed one night after dropping our child off at Western Carolina. The drive into the hotel is kind of weird and run down but the hotel itself was nice. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. No complaints.

We always love coming to this River Escape. We love the river out back, the pool and hot tub, the breakfast. It's all great. Everyone working there is nice as well. Clean hotel. Easy to get in and out.

We have stayed here 3 years in a row now. We love the location. The breakfast is pretty good, but bring back the omelets please. The staff is mostly all nice and helpful.

This hotel was right on the river and we had a balcony overlooking it. It was so beautiful and soothing to hear the river. We overslept both mornings so we didn't get to try the breakfast. We didn't get our room cleaned or towels replaced while we were there, which was only 2 nights, but I was surprised. Other than that, it was great!:I would go back just for the balcony on the river.

Loved this hotel!! The rooms were spacious, beds very comfy, shower was great and the outside patio with rockers and tables and chairs over the river was relaxing and wonderful!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat and every employee was extremely nice!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus! Being right on the river was relaxing and beautiful. One recommendation - please add more towel hooks in the bathrooms. With four people in one room and only one hook, it's hard to hang them up to dry.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Friendly and clean! Nice swimming pool. Best part was breakfast on the deck overlooking the River! Ohhh and 2 fire pits!!

Room with a Deck overlooking the river was Wonderful and sitting in the rocking chair on the deck watching and listening to the water run over the rocks was very relaxing.
The stuff was very nice helpful.

The pool and the hot tub were very nice! Facilities were clean and the outdoor areas were even clean!

Overall it was great. We loved sitting on the deck looking at the river. Our room was close to the pool so everytime you entered the room it smelled off. The parking was a little tight and sometimes hard to find a spot. Will definitely being staying again.

Everyone in the hotel was very nice and wanting to make your stay as nice as possible. Debbie ,she is the person who gets the breakfast ready was a sweetheart. Breakfast is really good , my husband and I enjoyed our breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi area was clean and enjoyable. I loved the patio it was a grand slam for me, sitting out in rockers watching the river was wonderful, they even have patio tables and chairs to eat breakfast on.
My one and only complaint is my room had a smell to it. The room was clean but I think they might need to change the carpet in there.

Cracks in the ceiling, ripes in the shower certain, toilet seat top was broken, trash on the floor in the coner of the room. Also saw coffee or something brown sprayed all over the wall. Was very disappointed in the room. Was outdated and dirty. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

There was a VERY strong air freshener in the lobby that almost choked me as I was checking in. Despite multiple complaints (the staff at front desk told me they had received complaints prior to my mentioning it), the smell returned the next evening.
Housekeeping came while I was gone and took the used towels but didn’t empty trash.

Love the riverfront views! The patio on the river is a great place to unwind. You have a great manager here! I frequently heard him telling his staff “I appreciate you” or “I appreciate your hard work today!” The hotel is clean, comfortable, with friendly staff, and the flower baskets hanging from the lamp posts along the river are beautiful! Highly recommended!

This hotel is for nature lovers. There is not much else around, except for beautiful mountains. The hotel sits directly in front of an absolutely gorgeous mountain river. The property is very well maintained. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast was great, and you could tell that the staff took pride in that and made sure guests had everything they needed. The breakfast we needed to begin our white water kayaking adventure!
