The Microtel Inn and Suites Dillsboro is a convenient place to stay for Univ of Western NC events. My son and I enjoyed sharing a suite. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the breakfast very satisfying.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The air conditioner wouldnt get the room any cooler as it was uncomfortable at times. Hallways were very warm, must be trying to save money. The beds were not comfortable but the bedding they used was nice.

This is my second time there. Both times my tv has not worked. This room was WAY better than my last one.
This time our bathroom light flickered on and off a few minutes before finally staying on.
Phones were also down.

The room was sufficent enough but hte lack of a TV was insane. No one could repair it. No way yo relocate to another room. No real compensation ($30.) for the inconveience as they stated that booking through a third party had to be conducted by me to submit a request for anything more. After being on hold for more than 45 mins I was assured the compensation would be forthcoming. Truly, I would have preferred a TV than go through all of that headache.

The outside of the property and the main check in area looks welcoming, clean, fresh. The rooms are quite dated, but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. For the 100 dollar overnight stay, it was safe, convenient and a value for the dollar.

I asked for a room with a view when asked if I had a preference of rooms. I was then given a room facing the side of a hill so all we seen out our window was dirt. the other side of the hallway got to see a beautiful mountain. very disappointing

Elevator is very noisy even after servicing, wasn't sure it would work. Inadequate counter space in bathroom, phone in room didn't work to call front desk (even after going to desk to replace cut cord we found) no USB outlets, TV input was wrong and should have been checked between occupancy. Breakfast area too small to accommodate more than a handful of guests. Coffee and juice readily available in lobby is a plus. Friendly staff.

The best thing about my stay was John. He checked us in and went out of his way to help. The rooms are SO small. TV volume was set too low to hear over A/C. Bed was extremely hard. Saved a few dollars but will not return on my next trip.

There was food crumbs on our floor when we arrive is our bedspreads were staying there was brown marks on the sheets there was bubble gum stuck to the bottom of the tub had a bad odor had to have our room changed the new room air conditioner would either be 59 or 77 there was no in between settings

We've stayed here many times. It's a quite & peaceful stay. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean & the showers have good pressure! Cameras around the hotel & inside of the hotel so that's a plus. Especially while vehicle is parked outside. It's a great place to stay. I've even stayed there alone some & felt safe as a woman. So that's saying a lot.

The outside of the property was beautiful. I had to switch rooms the tv didn't work in the first one. The second room had hair on the bathroom floor. Manager gave a 20.00 credit. Check in didn't tell us the ice machine on the 3rd floor didn't work. The air unit is very loud.I would not recommend this property nor will I use it again.

It is super lovely especially for the low price. Very nice bathroom and breakfast, as well as space in the room. Very pretty facility and a bit hidden from the busy road.
