Pee smell from air conditioner in first room. The front desk was able to move us to one without that odor. We had some loud talking guys outside our room around 11 pm when trying to sleep, but couldn’t reach the front desk until morning to report it. Despite this, it’s an inexpensive option.

No lock on bathroom door, very small, nit enough wash clothes, dirty curtains and dingy bedding

Check-in was super easy, room was very clean. Love that they are pet friendly. Easy to walk downtown for food and shopping, and just down the street is an Albertson’s grocery store. Only downside is that currently (Sept 2024) a lot of the workers that are doing road work on Hwy 101 between Carpinteria and Santa Barbara are staying here, and they go in and out with the large semi-trucks and trailers. It’s noisy with the loud engines and the beeping when they back up.

All the dining options around this motel close early (around 8pm), even the fast food joints. The motel staff were all very friendly, and the room was fine apart from the dirty laminate flooring. However, all we could smell around the property (and inside our room while the air conditioner was running), was cannabis. This (and the noisy neighbours) ruined our stay.

it is a very basic hotel, but is clean and considerably less $ than many hotels in the area. Location is very convenient.

Loved the convenience of the refrigerator and microwave. The room was clean, and well looked after. Very comfortably bed. Liked the easy acces to and from the parking lot. Would come here again.

We were arranged to room for disable because we doesn’t want to stay in 2nd floor due to lots of luggage. The room was spacious, has microwave and fridge but with very bad smell from the linens and the air condition.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room met our basic needs. But it was pretty basic. I could see some of the rooms had been updated but we were in one that hadn’t been. It seemed expensive for what it was but it was safe and clean and had plenty of parking. So all in all… it worked. :)

A motel 6 for $150 a night will always be a disappointment. I don’t know what I was thinking. Towels are cheap and don’t smell nice. Soap is cheap and too small to use in washcloth. Shampoo in foil that you can’t open. Room was super small because it was an ADA room and the bathroom was most of the space. If your room is in the inside ring near the pool it might be better looking but the outer ring closer to the parking lot felt unsafe, sketchy. The TV didn’t fit the opening, so there was plywood showing. No breakfast, no towels at the pool, no cream with the free coffee. They are just not set up to charge this much with out people feeling hugely unhappy. I would never stay here alone with young kids.

I love the staff who wet friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the overall property well taken care of. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe.

Property ok, but really need to learn and listen about what your tenants needs are!!! Especially when booked way in advanced. Should know your property in and out...

The staff was nice, its a Motel 6 so wasnt expecting more than a room to stay in for the night. Coupd have been cleaned better but overall it was a quick stay with no major issues.

They had a pool. No hot tub. Wifi didn’t work at all the whole stay. Kid wasn’t happy about that. Phone data didn’t work there either for some reason. Small room. Had a good rest anyways.

I would have liked a hairdryer and tissue in the room. Also, the plumbing was very loud.

Average motel 6 experience, fine for the price. Property felt safe, and I would stay here again. Just be advised, there are two Motel 6s within like a mile of each other on the same road. I wasted time going to the wrong one first! So double check the address!

Location, clean and convenient. What I didn’t like is when you told the lobby that you didn’t want maid service but the still came in.
