Thank you for our last minute stay due to boiler problems, super comfy and very friendly efficient staff member who helped us. Will definitely recommend here.

Lovely staff!
The apartment was a nice family accommodation in a lovely area.
Sofa bed is the only downside, wasn’t comfortable and needs a clean.

Just what we needed for a stop on the way to Cornwall. Easy check in and out, the room had everything we needed and the bathroom was more than adequate. But…please please replace the mattress in room14, the springs protruded and it had lost its cushioning, leading to an uncomfortable night. Such a shame when everything else was good.

Added touches like having plates/cutlery etc even a microwave available in the communal area was fantastic.
Plus this area was kept very clean.
We were running late to arrive by 7pm ( end of check in) and we were unable to call.
We received a text message with check in details so that put our minds at rest.

Although named 'New Forest Lodge', it's a small place positioned slightly away from the New Forest. A good drive to most places, at the northern end of the New Forest with some parking. With an Indian restaurant next door, that takes the parking on a busy night. On booking with Expedia we expected a 'family room', but on arrival were placed into a 'twin'. This gave the hotel a bit of a problem, and we are beyond pushing beds together. The hotel manager moved us to another double room which was better. The rooms are clean and tidy, with tea, coffee, kettle etc and small TV. The bathroom although dated was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. In the reception area was a stock of plates and cutlery with dining seating and a vending machine, if you brought your own food, it was handy. For preparing packed lunches etc. the iron was also kept there. Overall it was very clean, tidy and safe and a good standard of budget accommodation

It was a lovely room and the staff were helpful. The location was great as expected.
The only complaint was that the Bath and the bathroom floor had a lot of black hairs, which probably came off the shower curtain.

We have had a lovely stay at this property. Would recommend to any family. It’s comfortable, well equipped and spacious. Better than any hotel as you have a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We found this property as going to Paultons park and it is on 9 mins drive away. Thank you we have been very pleased with our stay

Great room very comfortable. King size bed. Good value for the price. Reception only open from 3pm to 7pm. Very pleasant and helpful receptionist. Will stay here again if in the area.

Three night stay to attend family wedding. Room was pleasant enough, bedding/towels clean. Some stains on carpet. Ground floor window opened onto a hedge so no view to speak of. Worst thing was the noise. I think my room was next to the boiler which seemed to boost every few hours during the night. There is hardly any soundproofing so woke this morning to Old MacDonald being sung to a toddler, could practically make out neighbours conversations. Upstairs room sounded like a suitcase was being constantly dragged across the floor. If I returned I would insist on an upper floor room with a view and located away from the boiler cupboard.

Reasonable room. Little bit dated decor and tv was a bit basic for the money. Didn't think it was a 4 star, would have expected some breafast options for that.

A lovely apartment, well-equipped, considerately furnished and a home from home.
Two ensuites provide the choice of a bath and shower and there are lots of windows throughout the apartment making it light and airy, with additional air-con units supplied in the bedrooms.
It's in a good location for exploring Salisbury, Winchester and Southampton as well as the New Forest, and just 12 minutes from Paulton's Park with Peppa Pig World!
The customer service was excellent and we definitely hope to return but do be aware that it's an attic apartment so has 3 flights of stairs and the sofa bed would benefit from an additional mattress for comfort.

Stayed here one night during a short visit to Paultons Park (<10 mins drive away) and new forest. Stayed in a room with a double, single and single pull out bed. Far better than a travelodge and has all the standard amenities for a room only stay. Convenient free parking outside and a good location to explore the new forest. The checkin is open at certain times but the lodge will send instructions for self checkin outside these hours.

The room it’s self was lovely and clean and very spacious but looking at the pictures we thought there was fields outside for the children to play and walk the dog, this is not the case, it’s on a very busy main road.

Stayed here 3 times in 13 months booked again for 2025. Rooms are comfy and clean good amenities, plenty of on site parking, lovely Indian restaurant next door, good location for the New Forest (hence the name) and for overnight if cruising from Southampton.

We loved the room and the facilities were good. However, we did thinkvthat the duvet coukd have been a warmer weight. There were no other blankets or duvets we could use to increase the warmth of the bedding.
