The hotel was renovated. Most employees were not very nice. Only polite. There was one that didn’t even bother to answer my question. One of the rooms that we got was good. But the other was the bathtub was in a terrible condition, and also was the toilet.

They took an extra $25 deposit when I checked in, but they didn't refund it when I checked out.

Ridiculously overpriced. Rusted tub, no maid service. Price gauging at it best because of college move in weekend demand. This was $100 room, not $400.

DONT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. They dont clean the room during your stay. They give you a paper at check in saying “if you need room clean please request it at front desk”. We did that and the answer was “no. Rooms are not cleaned daily, just every other day”. Other day we did it again and answer was “no, you needed to request it one day before”. Maybe I should pay for my stay “every other day”. Im paying for a hotel not an airbnb. Im paying for an hotel so I can have a clean, refreshed room. So out of 5 days, 3 days my room was not cleaned. The parking situation is a little inconvenient. But I slept great so overall a good stay

There were constant safety issues because of the construction. There was no food or drink service, even though the staff said there would be.

Very strong VOC smell in the room. Only had one time room service in 4 nights. Didn’t get any instruction on parking. They should complete the renovation and then do the business.

We stayed here for one night as we brought our daughter to town for a school function at the University. The hotel is under total reconstruction. You have to walk through tarps to check in. Pretty much climb over everything from paint to drywall just to get to your room. Had to walk under scaffolding to enter the building. This location needs to be closed until renovation is done.

Everything was good. Because of weather, I added an extra day to my stay. Your staff accommodated this so we would not need to change rooms. The renovation did not impact our stay at all. Even the construction crew was very kind & helpful. The only problem we had was with the TV. About every 15 seconds, a message would pop up, freezing the broadcast. We contacted the Front Desk. They sent Maintenace to the room......Could not fix the problem. We had asked the Front Desk to correct the problem during the day, while we were at the Race. Nothing was done. As I checked out, I should have asked for some consideration since the TV was a valuable resource for making our plans, based on the weather. FYI....Hilton Garden Inns have become our hotels of choice. From Minneapolis, to Kansas City, the consistency, cleanliness, & service has been very consistently good. Other hotel chains have not been so good, we avoid them. Kudos to Hilton Garden Inns!!!! Thanks, John

We were extremely upset to walk in paying 1800+ for 3 nights to stay here to see our daughter graduate college and find the entire hotel was going through renovations, the noise when we arrived was awful and the place was a construction zone. Room was not ready at 3, GM was scrambling to get rooms completed on the level we were staying. At no point prior to our arrival did the hotel inform us that the hotel was under construction and the amentities would be closed-pool, exercise facility lounge. The elevators were taped with cardboard boxes to keep the paint off of the sides which were filled with paint. When we arrived to our room, the door does not open and shut properly, and several ants were found in the bathroom upon arrival. I felt bad for the staff everyone checking in, including our family were so mad. We were all checking in for our kids graduations from college and none of the families knew that the hotel was under construction. I was so mad -we drove 10 hours, booked this hotel 8 months in advance, was gouged $1800.00+ /3 nights-it was graduation weekend and the management/corporate started construction a month prior to the biggest yearly event in this small town, Purdue University Spring Graduation! These kids already went through the start of their college experience in lock down because of Covid, and now this! The breakfast was not included and resembled free to other hotels. We should be refunded half of our money back for all of the disastors.

Stayed here during graduation, with super high rates for the timing. Hotel was under serious construction and a total mess. Which we could sort of deal with, but they also did not give us what we reserved (got two double beds not a king), and were unable to nap in afternoon because of constant construction noise. Very disappointing experience. Fine to jack up the rates for the event, but at least clean up a bit for it!

The hotel was a mess because it was under construction. It took forever to get our room. And I reserved it in November of last year. We had to walk through the basement and across an alley full of construction materials to the parking garage. Under the curcumstance they charged my husband $10 for breakfast that we did not expect. We also had trouble finding a luggage cart, so my husband,who is 74,had to lug our luggage downstairs to our car. We have always stayed a Hiltons before and this was a major disappointment. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The property had major construction going on. They started banging and drilling on the walls next to my hotel room at 8:15/8:30am and went on all day. They should have not alloted any rooms on that floor. There was dust everywhere. The main lobby was also being renovated. They should have closed the hotel for major renovation. It was a major disappointment. Hotel staff especially the lady at breakfast was super rude as well. Overall was very uncomfortable during my stay. I have a recording it.

Discovered a new term due to this hotel. Booked a no refund room moths ahead of time. The day we were to check in, just prior to check in time received a text saying they had to”walk the room” and Expedia would contact us. They seem to have never actually contacted Expedia, so the Hilton had not “walked the room” they just flat out overbooked and didn’t care. Also this was the day before the solar eclipse so literally the closest available room was two hours away. Clearly this property is not trustworthy and has no qualms about leaving you stranded. We spent the night in a rental car. I would say don’t book with this Hilton unless you are ok scrambling to find a new hotel at the last minute.

I understand the hotel was under construction but I was not told this before arrival. Construction trash all over walkway from parking garage to hotel entrance. Noisey and dusty. My toilet would not flush. Way overpriced for conditions even if temporary!

I was so worried about staying here after reading the reviews. This hotel is nothing like the negative reviews say it is. The staff is kind and friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable. The parking garage is convenient and parking is free. You can walk to campus and many restaurants. Ubers were very easy to get. There is a work out room and a Pure Barre next door. And a great restaurant next door too. There is no complimentary breakfast, but, my room rate was about $200 less a night than the hotels with a complimentary breakfast, so take that for its worth. I didn’t feel impacted by the construction. Bottom line, this is a nice, comfortable, clean place if you are coming to visit Purdue.

Hotel was under renovation so was loud with workers and equipment around. The “free” parking garage gate never worked and had to call each time. The evening front desk person was not friendly.

They were remodeling. I think there should be discounts during renovations. They drilled from 8 am to 6 pm. The price is for a 4 star hotel not a 3 star being remodeled. The walls are paper thin. You could here everything your neighbors did. The fan in our room didn’t have hearty blow.
