Absolutely worst experience ever. Tvs didnt work, no lightbulb in bathroom, smoke detector needed battery and kept beeping, room stunk, cockroaches everywhere. Office staff said we could not get a refund because we booked through 3rd party and they could not offer us another room. Maintenance office locked so we could not even get a bulb for bathroom light. Ruined the whole weekend

We got the hotel at 9 pm fall sleep at 3:00 am we got wake up because a lot of rash so we turn on the light what we found were a bunch of bed bugs so I went to the front desk she goes like she was giving us another room and then she goes like I can't refund you at this time because I m not the manager anyway they never did the refund

Probably worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. What appalls me the most is that only double rooms have fridges and microwaves. The bathrooms were dirty and I also noticed some mold.

TV service not working, informed when I went to ask at front desk and employee pointed a disclaimer written and posted on front desk glass partition. Only one power outlet worked in room.

My stay was good. Room was clean although it did have a strong smell every time I walked in but I’ve smelled worse, could be better though. I didn’t mind the location but if you’re a light sleeper, you’ll be woken up by the planes flying overhead. Other than that, I have no complaints.

A check in early fee 20 dollars a refundable 50 dollar deposit room wasn't swept spider webs on all of the windows and the room smelled bad i'll stick to getting a hotel next time

We stepped into the room and killed 2 baby roaches. Shower head was so dirty hardly any water cam out. They would let us chance rooms or get money back. First night didn't sleep and left late second night instead of staying there.

First 2 rooms offered smelled of urine terribly. The third room was a bit better but as time went one the smell of urine came back. Many animals are seen urinating on property and should be kept separate. This used to be my hotel of choice but not anymore. TERRIBLE!! LEFT AT 5AM

Renovation from 11am to 7 pm of grinding and hammering all day long. No water for the last night of the stay. No offer of a discount or anything. Pure hell to stay here

Rooms are very outdated

The room had black mold

tv didn’t work ask to get it fix an nothing!

The place seemed great but the tub had black spots and the bed obviously had bed bugs. We killed one the second night.

I needed a place to pass out for a few hours on my cross country drive; this fit the bill. No frills little motel room without even a coffee maker or a fridge but it did have a bug-free bed that I fell right asleep in. Motel 6 is always reliable for cheap dog-friendly accommodations I'll give them that.

Found three different kinds of bugs in the room. Hairs on pillows and floor. Sketchy people in the parking lot. It was cheap though.

A little faded but not at all bad. Clean and very reasonably priced, far better than I had reason to expect at the price. Noisy with low flying aircraft on approach to ORD but I knew that when I booked and photographing aircraft was the reason for my visit.

Staff was excellent and got me into my room Swifty after a long travel. It's in a great location with late night options, public transit and more. No nonsense bare bones rooms for a good shower and rest.

Room wasn't cleaned all the way. Roaches and bathroom smelled horrible. They tried to switch me rooms just for roaches to be in that one also.

The stay was just ok. The hotel has did not provide toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, facial tissue just like the other. They provided only 2 towel so we need to ask for an extra for our daughter. The cleanliness was just ok. They asked me for a $50 as a deposit and they said that they will return it once we leave but until now they did not return it.

Call center would NOT Renew my stay because i reported the Lousy rooms i was given, No staff fixed broken T.V the two days i was there, The third day they Goughed room rate by appx 50 percent!!! THEY SUCK NOW at a RedRoof in at Half the price with Clean Spacious room w All ammenities for half the Price, I will tell everyone i know to Avoid the Motel 6, Period!! Customer is Always Right!!!

Breakfast was not served though it was mentioned free breakfast. toiletries were not supplied. Water was not supplied.

They don't have a refrigerator

We checked in on a Tuesday as we walked into the room it appeared “clean” but the floor felt damp the whole time we were there so we wore our crocs all the time. There was no blanket on our bed. Only a sheet and very thin top cover. Pillows were not supportive. Bed was rock hard and caused sore hips for both me and my husband. We asked for a blanket and never got one. We asked for more towels and never got them, I guess that’s ok because on Friday there was no hot water and then no water at all. There was construction debris (screws, metal plates, broken trim off the building) strewn about the property so we watched where we were walking at all times. Saturday we went into the city and didn’t find it as dirty as this property. Returned back to our room late Saturday and our room key didn’t work so we had to walk to the office for a new one and the front desk girl was zero personality, no “sorry about that” or anything. We also noticed people loitering about the parking areas drinking and smoking but at least they were quiet even though they left empty beer cans on cars and the ground. It’s close to the airport but the planes overhead never bothered me. I would NEVER recommend anyone stay here. Spend a little extra for a friendly, clean place. Motel 6 might leave the light on for you but not the hot water. This place felt like a big middle finger to its guests. And they were sold out of rooms if you can believe it.
