Dented unsafe door, people living there. We saw one bug crawl across the floor and left

It wasn't too bad for the price. Needed more pillows though.

Room was dirty, very outdated, it seemed like a lot of the vacancy was taken up by people that live there full time so there was alot of parking lot noise. People constantly talking and hanging out in front of our door at all hours of the night.

Our key would not work to open our door. So, each time the front desk worker had to come up and use a computer apparatus to open it. The room was nonsmoking but smelled terrible. A couple outlets in the room did not work.

was a first floor room, bottom of door was slightly kicked in so you could feel the breeze from outside. you can tell they ‘remodeled’ a little, but it’s honestly sloppy. the pics on their site have to be from when they just redid a room.

It smells like cigarettes as soon as you walk in the room and I saw roaches. The front desk guy was very helpful and gave me a better room with no roaches! Definitely wouldn’t recommend booking a room there unless you absolutely need to.

A lovely clean room. We had a beautiful big very clean room. Lovely clean comfy bed, fridge and microwave. The room smelt gorgeous.

Staff was excellent. The room was clean but the TV did not work. We were only there a few minutes before we left for a concert. When we got back to sleep, the bed was very uncomfortable. It was lumpy and you could feel the springs. We got up at 3am to drive home because we just could not sleep and were very sore feom the mattress

Very bad experience I never in life experience a roaches room in my life I paid for the room and didn’t get a refund it’s was full of roaches y’all shouldn’t even list this property

It smelled clean BUT once we got into room we started noticing bugs. At first we were like ok 2 bugs..it happens until we realized it was roaches and they were everywhere. So lights stayed on all night and we stayed ip all night and we left at 6am and when we sayed something to front desk staff he laughed and sayed there was no way there were roaches but he would take care of us the next time. What next time? Wont ever stay there again. Oh and when we went to leave the riom some guy was just randomly sleeping in a computer chair right outside our door. What?

Everything was good. The only thing was the room smelled like cigarettes. Not sure if it was the A/clC or the people smoking outside and the odor went to the room. Otherwise everything was good.

I had requested a room with a king bed instead it was a room with 2 double beds. Not anytime during my check in was that mentioned to me. Then the door was very hard to open. You had to lift the handle up then down to get in. The lock didn't work unless you leaned on the door to push it fully closed. The first time I stayed here it was wonderful no issues. This second time not so great

We asked for a non smoking room and the room had definitely been smoked in. It did say non smoking on the door.Toilet did not flush properly. Room was clean! Fridge and microwave worked.

The room had roaches! After calling the desk, he offered a $0.24 credit! It was unnerving and i sat up all night because of my unease. Find somewhere else to stay!

My room had 3-4 roaches running around on the walls and on the counters! When I asked for another room, I waited 15 minutes for the housekeeper to give me the new key, she didn’t speak English either so I couldn’t ask her to check the new room for roaches. As soon as I walked in, it was 3 roaches behind the door! I gave them the key back and just slept in my car. Never again!!

I surprised inside the room a lot of roaches at night, I still have the picture of its, I informed the front office in the morning about this issue to refund he refused , he doesn’t care just he told me next time will give me a discount, externally bad stying..I need to refund my money , I will to contact BBB& joliet health department and my Lawer ..this is Expedia responsibility to refund my money.

That was my first time to visit Motel 6 in Joliet when me and my buddy had a great weekend stay. I'm totally satisfied with this motel on McDonough and Larkin. I can't wait to get a room again instead of Red Roof Inn across the street. That was a great, excellent customer service.

The room was fine and the check in, behind bulletproof glass, was fine and the official friendly. I don't really care for hotels which have permanent residents with unchained dogs and cats, doors propped open, trash everywhere, prostitutes surrounding us, a sign which read: We do not rent rooms by the hour. This is absolutely the most frightening property in over 40 years of traveling. The 5.2 rating was a gift. Very, very scary here.

Very bad outside and inside combined. Even the receptionist was behind glass. (He was nice guy )

The hotel was located right off of I-80 right next to Sam's Club. Dogs stay free which was great. Staff were very friendly. The room it self was clean. No soaps were provided. Microwave, mini fridge and TV. We were in a non smoking room but you could smell marijuana and cigarettes throughout.
This hotel seems more for long term stay as the whole bottom level were for families to live in.
I did not walk anywhere by myself.
Good for one quick night.

The stay wasn't terrible, but some things were very off which I assume is because if the holiday weekend. No trash cans in the room, the TV didnt work and no one apparently could fix it until the morning. The staff are extremely friendly and super helpful. Honestly think it was just a rushed room in a sold out hotel that night.
