Inn located in a very nice area on top of a hill overlooking a valley. Very picturesque setting. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. The only thing that I missed was that the room we received did not have a television. Not sure if this is the case for other rooms at the inn. Minor inconvenience since I have DirecTV so I could watch on my laptop.

This Inn and its annex buildings stand along a dirt road amongst beautiful meadows with mountain vistas. We loved the views, the perfect quiet at night, the amenities (pool with a view, trails, racquet courts…) and the friendly staff. Our shower (room 602) had no hot water. There was no offer of a price reduction (hence the 4 star, not 5). We only stayed one night so we don’t know if it was resolved. We would nevertheless consider coming back.

We are from Houston & stayed overnight after visiting a friend in St. Johnsbury. We arrived a bit late but per our earlier phone call to the Inn, our key and and other instructions were left for us in a basket by the door. We knew there were no TVs in the room, but wifi was great and who needs a TV anyway?! It was just freezing cold in Vermont last week when we were there, but we woke up to snow everywhere and it was sooooo beautiful! The Inn had heat that was thankfully, not overwhelming, and plenty of towels which the 2 of us, for whatever reasons, needed! We were meeting friends for breakfast so missed out on the Inn's offerings. Overall, it was a lovely stay - reminded me of Gilmore Girls kindof place. Not at all fancy - lots of wood and old-fashioned comfyness. Just lovely. Thank you!

Beautiful setting and plenty of options around to keep busy. Great coffee with breakfast, comfortable beds, and hot showers. Toilet a bit fussy in the carriage house but ok. With as delicious as dinner smelled, I expected a bit more from the breakfast options.

Bed was bouncy, walls and ceilings thin so you could hear guests flushing toilets and walking around. Bath sink was buckling laminate, bath ceiling drywall has buckling drywall taped seams from water leak above. Room sparse without even a box of tissues. Friendly staff, nice location.

Beautiful place and incredibly helpful staff

No television or radio in rooms. Walls pretty thin, so it was easy to hear noise from adjoining rooms. Nice staff. Property needs some maintenance. Our toilet leaked and made gurgling sounds in the morning. Door and key to the room were difficult to operate. Plenty of parking. Nice views.

When you stay here you’ll really feel you’re in Vermont. The mountain air, the views, the farm house. I have a big family, 6 kids, we got the 7 person room and it was huge! We slept comfortably with all the different beds. The breakfast was basic but more than enough, but you can beat the views sitting by the window in that big breakfast nook overlooking the valley and the mountains. Love it.

Quick weekend getaway and decided to stay in the Northeast Kingdom for the first time - were pleasantly surprised to find the Wildflower Inn. It's a mountain biking mecca but we were there just for kicks - great restaurant and very comfortable room in the Meadows buidling. My husband is accustomed to watching some TV before bed and also news in the AM so he was disappointed no TV! We made the best of it and I didn't really miss having one!

Lovely hotel in a former farm house and stables. Wonderful service and excellent food! Plenty of biking and hiking options as well (or you can just read a a book and enjoy the view while having a latte).

Beautiful location but room was awful and outdated. Furniture looked like it was picked up from side of road garbage disposal. Room in disrepair missing radiator covers metal chairs from the bar, bathroom tub gross with hard water stains on drain and faucets, hairdryer blower on wall caked with dust where hot air blows out. Could hear every conversation in rooms next to us and guests checking in above us sounded like an army invasion at 9pm. Couldn’t believe it. The exterior of our building was run down as well but the main inn building was lovely with pretty gardens and views. The breakfast on check out day was empty. No cutlery, no milk etc. person at checkout completely indifferent to our needs and couldn’t care less about the empty breakfast or feedback on room concerns. Truly unacceptable conditions based on the high price of the room. A waist of money in our opinion. We can get the view and beautiful surroundings when we are out and enjoying the location. When we come back to the hotel, we want convenience and basic comfort which was missing. No TV either which is ok but be aware and make sure you bring your reading material. I was really disappointed with the staffs indifference. Just didn’t feel like anyone cared and just wanted the money with little value. This will never be on our stop again. We are happy to spend the money but just want some value to go with it.

Overall very dissatisfied. Thought I was getting a shabby chic toom. Turns out to just be shabby. Horrible mattress horrible musty smell in room. Service non existent and breakfast buffet at a motel 6 level. This was the worst $400 night toom I ever booked.

The Wildflower Inn was a gem nestled in the mountains of Vermont. I stayed here with my son for a ski race at Burke mountain. We were able to eat dinner with his team at the Inn restaurant. The food and service was excellent. The staff at the Inn even made sure to have breakfast out for the skiers since they had to leave early for their race. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. It was also a beautiful, iconic Vermont location. I highly recommend The Wildflower Inn!
